The 2 guys showed up at the time selected and we finished 30 minutes ahead of schedule. Moved everything we needed moved, nothing damaged, overall excellent work.

Ann-1 replaced the mover originally contracted through hireahelper because Budget did not honor the reservation for a 8:30am 26' moving truck for a move from Houston, Texas to Dallas, Texas. After Budget sent us on several wasted chases in search of a replacement truck, we were not able to secure a Budget truck (got a Penske truck) until 3:30pm. Ann-1's Mr. Paul Harrison arrived with his crew of 4 "movers". They were hired for four hours, two bdrm apt. Mr. Harrison said he "picked them up" at a Budget location because his reg. crew was not available. Mr. Harrison's pickup guys began the move and Mr. Harrison left. The Guys used my moving materials (tape, shrink wrap, bottled water, paper towels, etc.) generously. In the midst of the move the guys began to erratically move items and "stack" my items in the truck haphazardly. One guy took a marble table top down 2 flights of stairs without assistance or protecting the table top. He did the same thing with an octagon shaped glass table top. When the guys began to move the antique dresser, I instructed them not to drag it over the carpet. They dragged the dresser and snapped the front left leg and loosened the right front leg. This happened @ 6:20pm. When the guys realized they had broken the antique dresser, they laid it down in my livingroom floor and three of the four of them just simply left the move w/o a word. One guy stayed because his phone was in Mr. Harrison's car. Mr. Harrison returned @ 7pm. He asked us (my friend and me) where were the workers; we informed him they left. Mr. Harrison and the remaining worker began to complete the move at 7:10pm. When Harrison saw the damage, he volunteered to pay for the damage from his "own pocket" and to let him know as soon as I get a quote. (I researched 3 quotes and sent them to Ann-1. Ann-1 filed with HireaHelper insurance but failed to inform me of that decision and I almost missed my 10-day deadline to register my claim). Mr. Harrison, 1 worker, and my friend continued to complete the move. It was "completed" @11pm. I paid Ann-1 movers their entire fee (which was $200 more than the original movers and felt so badly for Mr. Harrison I generously tipped him). My agreement with the apt mgmt was to leave before midnight. Now I'm under severe pressure to leave in the middle of the night, extremely tired and stressed with damaged antique furniture and who knows what else. When the HireAHelper movers in Dallas begin to unpack my belongings, it was so badly packed that things were falling from the truck when the door opened. Not only was my antique dresser treated badly, my antique full length mirror had been packed unsecured and unprotected. Fortunately the mirror survived and but other pieces were damaged as well. In retrospect do not feel sorry for someone who screwed up a business decision, give their word to correct the issue, and fail to communicate their true intentions just because their "word" is given. In my defense I support entrepruenership, but not untrustworthy entrepreneurs. So, that's my experience. I hope Ann-1 will be a better move for you.

They were willing to help at the last minute after previous company canceled. Although there was a lot of dead space in the truck they did a great job. The guys were very nice and worked quickly. We moved approximately 1700 miles and nothing was broken when we arrived.
