We do very small jobs and big jobs also. We do local, long distance, and out of state moves. You can sit back and leave all the worries to us. We offer packing and unpacking services also. These guys were wonderful and professional. Came last min to lift 1,500 in weights after they had already done 3 jobs earlier in the day. And on top of that they worked in the rain! But they were afraid of spiders :)

I had a Thanksgiving flood in my basement. My insurance company encouraged me to check "Hire A Helper" for assist with moving my basement out to be able to fix the basement flooding.
Because it was a holiday, services were limited. I thought I was going to have service on Sunday. Instead, service came on Monday.
I authorized Holleman Hauling to assist me. I requested 4 professional movers to come. They were to come between 12 and 1pm on Monday. I received a call at 12:20 on Monday, (post Thanksgiving) that they would be late and that they would be between 1 and 2 pm.
At 2: 20 pm they called and said they were running late. They arrived at 1455 pm (2:55pm). The owner of the company Carlos, stayed down in the basement and followed my friend around asking "does she want this out, does she want this out?" the entire time of moving basement out. He never made a move of my stuff out into Pack Rat storage unit. He never went up until he was to leave.
Now I thought I had hired 4 professionals. Carlos brought with him "3 kids from the neighborhood." My friend stayed downstairs and assisted with the move as I was too sick to do any part of the move.
The move had to be done as it was too dark to continue. At the end of the move, I met the group and upon seeing how young the 3 teenagers were, I asked Carlos if these were his kids. His reply was no. Then I asked if they were his brothers. He then stated they were kids in the neighborhood who wanted to earn a little extra money.
Initially the bill was $766.00 for 4 hr of service for 4 professionals. They worked 1 1/2 hr until 1615. So real total hr of work was approx 1 hr and 15 min. Carlos took $200. off as he knew he was charging me for 4 hr and worked less then 1 1/2 hr.
I asked the teenagers how old they were and one said 25 yr old. I said there is no way he is 25. The other said 24 yr old and the 3rd sheepishly stated 19 yr old. The help all looked to be under 19 yr old. Plus, these kids were not professionals. If they were, I would never had to order 2nd pack rat storage. They had no idea how to properly pack the unit. Plus they broke several glass, pottery items that can never be replaced. Great disappointment.
Carlos also said he would take $100 off total as he was charging me $100 for use of black garbage bags and he realized that was not appropriate.
Never did I see the $100. I have waited a long time to place review as I feared retaliation from the kids. 2 of the helpers were wearing gang apparel. Carlos seemed nice at time of my hardship, but I believe he took advantage and misrepresented himself.
I definitely would never recommend Holleman Hauling to anyone nor Hire a Helper. I should've gone into the yellow pages. I was distraught, I was not thinkning straight. I now know I was in shock over the basement flooding.

Holleman Hauling was called when the original packers did not show up. The guys from Holleman Hauling arrived when they said they would and completed packing our POD in a timely manner. They guys were very respectful for our belongings and very polite. I would recommend Hoolleman Hauling to anyone.

Called and confirmed with the service a few days before the day we needed the service. After speaking with the job manager I was confident that our move in was going to be a smooth process. At 11:45 p.m. ! The night before our move in. We received a phone call from the job manager to confirm times again. Start of the job had been agreed to be between 8-9 a.m. The following morning at 9 no movers had arrived. I called and reported that they had not shown up. I received a phone call back and was told the movers were to be there between 9-10. No one showed up until 11. The movers were nice but very young they worked from start to finish. However, they dropped an armoir going up some stairs and left several sizeable dings in our walls.
