Excellent overall experience! Owner Rob Burbank was incredibly accommodating when the move had to be rescheduled to the following day after finalizing the previous day. The moving crew was quick, highly proficient and completed the job ahead of schedule. Would definitely use them again in the future and highly recommend using Impact 1M LLC for any move.

I booked the movers on HireAHelper on a Monday for the following Friday. Someone finally called me on Thursday (I think it was the owner) to go over my order. I described the items I needed to have moved (1 full pod and 1 half pod) and asked if I had booked too much time or too many men (3 men for 3 hours). The man I spoke with assured me that it was the right amount, so I went with it. The guys who arrived were polite. They did scrape and ding my walls...especially going up the stairs. A few dents and smudges are to be expected during moving, but I had to patch one large hole after they jammed a dresser into it. They worked quickly and efficiently and ended up finishing before the 2 hour mark. This is where I was most disappointed. When paying for the service via text messaging, I ended up speaking with a representative who let me know that this company doesn't refund for un-used time. I wish the man I spoke with had told me that...I probably would have adjusted my order. I put in a call to the owner to see if he could do anything about it since I had explicitly asked him how many movers and for what length of time I'd need and he'd assured me that what I selected was correct. He's in the moving business...so I expect him to be able to estimate jobs fairly. Instead, I spent an extra $75 on time I didn't use and the men weren't working. The worst part is, I left the owner a voicemail and I never heard back from him.

Both men were friendly, courteous and hardworking. We had just moved a lot of our belongings from New York to North Carolina (15 hours!) and were exhausted. We have more moving to do, and we plan on using their services again. Thanks!
