My movers were beyond amazing. If I could give them a 10, I would. They took great care of my furniture and fragile items and kept me apprised throughout the process. They did not even stop to take a break!! They made this move less stressful. Thank you James, plus 1, sorry I forget your name. I would use you again in a heartbeat.

Mover crew of 2 was through Always Reliable. And that they are. Quan and Norman showed up early to get the lay of the move and were machines at packing a 16 ft pod in 4 hours despite the idiots that run my building at Peter Cooper that scheduled another move the same day as mine. Still got done. Nayguhon, the manager at Always Reliable actually answered the phone and returned calls directly to to make scheduling and billing well understood and put my mind at ease. These guys were on it. This is only the second review I've ever felt the need to leave for good reason.

Reggie was in contact with me the day before to discuss logistics. He confirmed my truck rental was with U-Haul saying they aren't known for overbooking their trucks. He had his crew there on time to move a full apartment from the 7th floor to the basement, using an elevator, walking up two flights of 8 steps to get to the ground level and the truck. The move out went great.
I met them at the destination. The people receiving the contents did not shovel or clear the walkway and the entire area was covered in ice and snow. For the safety of his crew, Reggie explained he could move the furniture into the garage. We had to get the car in the uphill driveway moved out of the way to do that safely. The entire move went great. I'd definitely call them again.

They showed up right on time! They were extremely helpful and kind. Would recommend to anyone moving to use these guys. They take great care to make sure they took care of our belongings and get them into our home. I will definitely be using them the next time I have to move!

Our experience with Family Movers was an excellent one. We hired two movers to unload a POD. They arrived early. They unloaded the POD, arranged furniture in the house, and assembled two beds quickly and carefully. They were friendly, respectful of people and possessions, and clean. They went above and beyond expectations to make sure we were happy with the unloading. We would definitely use them again!

Pluto movers moved some furniture for us and loaded our Pod, in preparation for some home remodeling. The move itself was fantastic. They knew what they were doing, and moved the furniture into the pod without any problems whatsoever (and without having to remove any doors, which surprised and pleased us). They were very courteous and accommodating to all of our needs.

I felt I had to remove one star only because it was very difficult to get in touch with them before the move. They did contact me to confirm the move date, but I needed to contact them with some questions about supplies. After leaving several unreturned messages, I finally contacted Hire-a-Helper (who have been great throughout this process), and then I got a response. They were also a little late letting us know that they were running late on the day of the move. Again, a little more attention to communication with the customer would have been helpful.

I would definitely use Pluto movers again, and hopefully they see this feedback as constructive. With regard to the move itself, we could not be more pleased.

Chris and Ernie called prior to arrival to advise of their arrival time. They showed up promptly and when scheduled. These guys were professional and had a high level of expertise. Our furniture was handled with great care. We have moved five times in recent years. Each time we had national or regional movers. This was a local move and I contacted Family Movers through hire-a-helper. Wow, beyond expectations. A job well done! I would highly recommend them and use them again.

I hired 3 Helpers, but Dirk came along to supervise and gave some assistance as well. They did lots of prep-work since I had purchased rolls of foam sheeting and plastic wrap, but never got around to doing it myself. So all furniture was "shrink wrapped" and protected while in motion. It added extra time to my budget, but well worth it. They took beds apart and re-assembled. After 4 hours of constant work, I bought pizza so they could rest and re-fuel. I enjoyed getting to know the crew a little better during the break (good luck in your last semester, Jarell)..
