I will never use this company again or recommend them to anyone. In fact I will make sure that anyone looking for a similar service will not use them. It was chaos from the get go. This company was hired as a gift so my husband wouldn’t be stuck doing all the lifting for this move. Due to the reviews it was thought to be a good idea but after truly experiencing the service - it was obviously a mistake and a regretted purchase. Upon booking the service it was said that if all the time booked wasn’t used the rest of the time could be refunded. For example we booked a 3 hour time slot but if only 2 hours were used then the last hour would be refunded. We booked for 4pm and while still packing we received a text from the movers asking if they could come early has they had already finished a job. They asked if they could be to our place by 3pm. We agreed as we didn’t see an issue and had to still pick up the uhaul. After getting back at 3:20pm they still weren’t infront of the apartment and didn’t pull in until shortly after the UhAul was parked. The gentleman parked next to my vehicle to the point to where he could’ve hit my car getting out and was completely side ways in the spot and didn’t even bother to fix his parking job. The 2 men pulled up completely unprepared without even a working dolly….Upon entering the apartment they immediately started complaining about the stairs as if we didn’t inform the company it would be two flights of stairs. I was trying to tape drawers closed to prevent them from going everywhere during the move and couldn’t even do that because it was an ordeal about having to carry things down stairs like they weren’t getting paid to do it and it’s their profession. Then upon speaking to one of them I could barely understand a word he was saying majority of the time and he smelt of alcohol which probably explains the parking job. upon carrying things down the stairs they were constantly dropping things and actually broke items and didn’t even care to mention that they did. When carrying items they put a gash in my wall and a dent in the door Frame. We wanted to wrap more of our furniture but they just kept grabbing and taking things before we could direct them. By the time they finished it was like 5pm. There for there was still an hour left that hadn’t been used. They were asking for a payment signature and given what was said when booking the service initially- the person who was gifting us the service wanted to call for the invoice to be updated. This is when it got even more chaotic. They couldn’t leave until it was signed which is understandable but they were trying to act like we weren’t going to pay and they could easily get ahold of their boss but when the gifter was trying to it was impossible… it was booked through a third party company who was no help at all and they were saying things about emails that weren’t sent to her etc … and saying that truthfully they don’t refund time not used… so basically they were going to get paid an additional hour of not doing anything… and mind you - in this time they were sitting in their truck, smoking a cigarette, and then had the audacity to come bang on my door with my kids in the living room - to say that they weren’t rushing for a signature but they couldn’t leave until it was paid - like we weren’t currently on the phone with the lady taking forever trying to pay and then wanted to make a comment which was a lie saying “we were told to be here at 3 and technically it’s 6 so it’s been three hours” in return I said that they had been sitting for a whole hour doing nothing and they weren’t booked to be there at 3 they asked to come early and they didn’t even get there until 3:30 just about….. but were spinning it to their boss like they did… so in return they weren’t going to refund and instead of letting the gifter speak to who originally said that they refused and let her know that was actually against policy … which isn’t her fault they lied just to get her to follow through with booking… finally after everything they refunded only 30minutes… but it was still $130 extra for them to sit there, do nothing, smell like booze, and talk crap …all while being parked diagonally to take up two whole parking spaces like other residents didn’t live there and need to park… and to top it off the messed up items probably won’t be covered because even though insurance is paid for - they didn’t send the inventory email the night before the move and it was sent only after she called to get the hour removed which was supposed to be filled out prior to loading the uhaul… so my messed up bed frame, broken vanity that they dropped and broke, the gash in my wall, isn’t going to be covered… all in all just don’t… and reading some of the replies the owner has put on some low rating reviews is a joke… I can assure you one of the gentleman smelt like booze and that’s not to tarnish reputation..dont book!
