TWO bedroom home took two movers 5 HOURS to pack and load only HALF of my furniture into a 20 foot Uhual. Bed railings. tops of disassembled tables, headboards and foot boards, chairs, and box spring to one mattres and mattress to one box spring did not make in on the truck. After they left me and my son had to load what we could on the truck. It was not packed tight at all according to the movers that unloaded. The unloading movers could not assemble most of my furniture because half of the pieces to each piece of furniture was missing the tops to the table. In order to have these pieces assembled I will have to pay for another trip. After the movers unloaded the truck me and my son had to make another trip with the uhaul to get the remaining pieces of furniture, costing more time and money.

I should have realized from the moment the movers began moving only one bend or three shoe boxes per trip to the 20 foot uhaul that they were in the business of wasting my time and money. One hour was spent on loading bends and another was spent on disassembling a coffee table in which they broke as I watched them do it. They spent 20 minutes discussing how they plan to get the china closet which was about 6 feet from the door out of the house into the truck. After two hours I was disgusted but I was left in a position two days before thanksgiving to deal with it. Once Mousa the lead of the two packing up my home realized I was not happy with the service he got very upset and unprofessional. So now he's upset that I'm not satisfied to say the least with their service. His response I have a lot of house! Two bedroom home took 2 movers 5 hours!!!!
It seems two hours would be enough to pack up essentially two bedrooms and two tables, 15 to 20 bends already packed and labeled by myself.

After 4 hours of service I thought they in good faith stayed extra to move what should have been done already. No after 40 to 45 minutes went by Mousa asked how we wanted to pay him?? Cash, venmo, cash app. my son cash app him 60 dollars on top of everything. These so called movers are the worst ever!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mover's response:
I will not defend all of the erroneous information outlined in this review. Instead, I’d like to share a few helpful moving tips:

~1. Plan ahead...then, plan some more. Preparing for a move is more difficult then most people assume. With so many moving parts involved, it’s a good idea to create a week by week moving schedule, to help stay on task.

~2. Declutter. Take advantage of your upcoming move, to get rid of things you will not be taking with you to your new home. Moving is labor intensive, enough - even for seasoned professionals. Having to navigate through clutter, and other unwanted items, adds stress and time to the moving process. Host a yard sale (which could help you save or make extra money), donate, or have junk haulers come through, the day before.

~3. Don’t rush the moving process. (1), No two moves are alike, and (2), caring for your belongings takes time. With that said, a move can take longer than anticipated, for a host of reasons.

~4. Try to have the right size truck for your move. This can be difficult to do, if your move is last-minute, but it will make all the difference.

Musa and his partner showed up on time and got to work unloading right away. They made sure to take care when moving fragile items and did a great job navigating up narrow stairs without damaging anything. They even helped me move some of my existing furniture to another part of the house. These guys were professional, polite, and helpful. Will definitely use them again for my next move.

My move was under less-than-ideal conditions (small elevator/truck parked a ways away from the building) so I will cut the movers some slack. I will say that they were incredibly conscientious about wrapping and protecting my items/furniture - I watched one of them take 15-20 minutes and use three blankets plus almost a whole roll of tape wrapping a leather recliner - so you can definitely feel confident that your things will be protected and carefully handled. The trade-off is time and, of course, money. It took them over seven hours to tightly pack a 1BR in a 15’ U-Haul (mostly boxes, no sofa, bed, or other very large furniture) and even then it was not finished. They were very nice and communicative. They did not wear masks most of the time, tho it was a very hot day in August so again, I cut them some slack. If you are overly protective of your stuff and have the time, they are good, steady workers.

Mover's response:
Harry, thank you! And, yes... Between sharing a small elevator with the rest of the building, a long-carry the length of a city block, a street crossing, and just 2 team members? Had you not jumped in and helped the way you did, it might have taken longer. We appreciate you! As far as protecting your belongings, we don’t cut corners. I’d rather our customers talk about how thorough and conscientious we are, than the opposite. And, of course, it helps that your belongings get to their destination, in the condition we received them. Much thanks!

Would recommend in a hearbeat! Musa showed up perfectly on time for a move that ended up being much more difficult than we had prepared him for (including a long walk that we forgot to warn them about), but wasted no time, effort, or energy making sure that we got the absolute best from it. We had a lot of furniture for a 1 bedroom apartment, that only barely fit inside the 16' truck we had rented, and only thanks to his careful planning and arranging of everything. Musa was incredibly professional, and took upmost pride in making sure that he handled all of our stuff with the greatest care. I would absolutely got with them again, but one thing to note beforehand is that you're best off prepared to have your furniture protected with pads, sheets, etc.: Musa wants to be absolutely sure that your furniture arrives in the best condition (it did!), and while he'll be glad to sell you the furniture pads he has on hand, everything can be easier if you already have them on hand. Thanks again for everything!

I would not recommend Northeast as a reliable moving service. Initially, 2 helpers were supposed to assist in emptying a storage unit and move the contents to an apartment. Musa indicated an arrival time of 1-2PM. Musa was not proactive about reaching out to me concerning a delay. I called him at about 1:40 to find out what was going on. He did not answer. He texted me about 15 minutes later and changed the time to 3:30, which I certainly did not like and that forced my girlfriend and I to load the furniture into the U-Haul ourselves because I had to get the rental truck back by a certain time. It was difficult because I have a bad back and she has rotator cuff issues.
I told him to meet us at the apartment via text.
Musa didn’t arrive until 4PM. He was not apologetic, he was obnoxious and condescending. He actually said, “it is the nature of this business to be late!” He also said “ I could have told you I wasn’t coming!”

The only reason why I have given a 2 star rating is for the young man that helped him. Jordan worked diligently and was respectful. I gave Jordan a $40 tip. Musa gets 0 stars and got no tip.

Mover's response:
Our fault, completely! We realize that last minute moves are notoriously stressful, and difficult to plan, especially, at this time of the month. And, working with our customers under strict COVID-19 guidelines, doesn’t help. Instead of declining an opportunity to go to work on your behalf, we accepted. Things didn’t go as planned, and you were terribly inconvenienced. We’re truly sorry you didn’t have a good experience, but the misquotes, and libel aren’t necessary. ~ Musa A.

My husband and I recently moved and we loved working with Musa and NTS! They were friendly and did an amazing job getting everything out of our apartment and packing our truck on a 90 degree day in NYC! There was a little bit of a miscommunication as far as what we were expecting of each other (we thought we were just hiring people to help us carry everything out of our place and that we would be doing the loading; we didn’t realize that we would need to wrap every piece of furniture in blankets), but once we overcame that, working together was a breeze! Thanks so much!

Musa was very responsive and gave us updates as needed. We booked last minute and needed a COI ASAP, which was provided for us within a few short hours! Our requested arrival time was 9-10am and they arrived just before 10 and got right to work. They worked diligently for the entire 2 hours booked in the middle of a heat wave and finished right on time! I would definitely recommend them for any future moving needs.

Great job, thanks to Musa and the guys for being helpful and courteous. They arrived on time. Ended up taking longer than I expected (roughly 5 hours) for only half of my things in my studio, but there was a long walk to the trailer from my apartment so it was expected to take a little longer. They fit as much as they could in the trailer I could get, so props for that. Would recommend ??

They were amazing, my move was a disaster from beginning to end with issues with uhaul and another mover that had canceled last minute. They were able to accommodate me last minute plus accommodate a time change due to uhaul. Thank you so much! I’d give 10 stars if I could
