Tremendous! They were amazing, gracious, and incredibly hard workers. I will use them again whenever I need to move. I had a really tough moving job with lots of stairs and a long haul and they worked until it was done.

The price was right, we were paired with a father/son team so they worked very well together and completed the job safely and quickly. Communication in person & on the phone was super easy. Very much appreciated their help and professionalism. FIVE STARS!!!!!

who are these people? who/what is hire a helper? why does no one have a name or a contact number? how does anyone rely on this service? what is going on? How do you cancel a job twice - two days in a row, at last minute, same day or after 5pm VIA EMAIL and not call or communicate like a human being? does any party here take work for money seriously? i have a disabled sister with a 26' truck full of belongings and critically needed objects and just don't understand the gig here. could not be more frustrated and disappointed and pissed off with the incompetence are automated program with no analog actors. high school kids on drugs would be more reliable. seriously. just unbelievable.
Best regards,

Musa and Jordan were AMAZING! This weekend we moved out of our Chelsea Brownstone apartment of 24 years... That's a lot of stuff. Musa and Jordan showed up tracy to go and jumped right in, super strong and full of energy (on a brutally hot day). They were knowledgeable, experienced movers, who got even the biggest, heaviest, trickiest pieces down an old winding staircase safely, and knew how to load the truck for safety and efficiency. They worked incredibly hard and fast and were SUCH nice guys. We could not have done it without them and we really enjoyed working together. Highest recommendation!

Your Moving Partner for Life were very patient with me and did an amazing job. My Uhaul delivery was late and they were amazing in accommodating me in arriving later. They also were great in moving my items & timing was perfect! Additionally, communicated the day of reservation, day before and morning of move. I would recommend Your Moving Partner for Life to anyone moving in the Tri-State area. Thank you guys; you were amazing!

I had booked Mygrate Moving Systems for a Sunday afternoon between 1 and 3pm. I received a phone call from them ~1230pm and was told that they would be late as they were finishing up a job in the Baltimore suburbs. They showed up ~345pm. I had booked 2 movers for 2 hours. I had a one-bedroom apartment on the 13th floor with 2 steps to get into the building. I had reserved the elevator for 2-5pm as I thought the latest they would get there would be 3pm and it would take 2 hours. When they did arrive, one worker started unloading the truck while the other worker went to park his vehicle. For some reason, the worker who started to unload the truck brought everything into the building lobby first instead of packing the elevator that was open and reserved. When the second mover came to start working, he informed me that my job was too big for 2 people and he would have to call a 3rd person in and I would have to pay $15/hr ($30 total) extra. I said that was okay because at that point I just wanted to be moved in. They did finish before 6pm, but I no longer had the elevator reserved from 5-6p so we had to wait for whichever elevator was not being used and try to fill it up as fast as we could.
During the move, one of the workers stopped to eat potato chips while sitting on the back of the truck and kept talking to people he knew on the street.
Overall, I was disappointed by their tardiness and inability to do the job with 2 movers. I had hired movers in Chicago (the place I was moving from) and they showed up early and were able to complete the job in less than 2 hours. Also, my Chicago movers weighed all of 150 lbs and were still able to move all of my stuff in a timely and efficient manner.
If you are moving from a residential location in which has either an ELEVATOR, MULTIPLE FLIGHTS OF STAIRS, or a LONG-CARRY (where the distance between the back of the moving truck, and your front door, is more than 50 feet), then your move WILL take longer, than if those conditions did not exist. Bernard and Connie were amazing! They packed everything quickly and carefully utilizing the space available in my truck. They were also extremely personable and made my move so pleasant and easy! I would definitely recommend them!!
