Damaged our refrigerator, scratches all along front of panel. Movers shoved through door and now the refrigerator is spraying water from the valve in the back. Movers did not show up with appropriate moving equipment (dolly, tools). They did have a small 7.00/hr Uhaul dolly but that was it.
When we went to inspect damage to refrigerator, piano, and couches, they attempted to cover up damage with moving blankets.
At conclusion of move, they stood over us to ensure a 5 star review was completed. Be careful, as if you have heavy furniture or a refrigerator it’s liable to get very damaged. Not pleased, and if you call to file a claim hire a helper is not helpful.
We come prepared to every job with at least one hand truck, two doilies, simple tools, gloves, etc. At no point during or after loading your belongings did you all express any concern for items being damaged. We carefully moved and loaded everything out of your house and into your truck and yes we did wrap your belongings in moving blankets to make sure they did not get damaged or scrapped while stacking and during the ride. Thank you for acknowledging that we do wrap items properly to ensure safe travels. You all were present and watched everything we did and there was nothing that was dragged, scrapped or damaged during the course of your move. At any time if there was a concern you could have openly spoke up and said something if we were in fact damaging your belongings but you said nothing because nothing of the sort happened. If I were a customer and someone was dragging or scrapping my furniture I would definitely speak up and say something not allow for someone to damage my belongings then complain about it after someone else has moved it again. You originally left us a 5 star review and spoke highly of our service at no point did you mention dragging, scrapping or damaging your belongings, if this was a true claim you should have immediately left this review and reached out to HireAHelper not waited until all of your items have been moved into your new home BY SOMEONE ELSE to report that WE have damaged your belongings then come back edit your review and say we damaged your things after, that sir is not right. We still hope for the best for you and your family on your new endeavor and thank you for taking the time to leave such a review it has taught us a lot and we will use this experience to learn and grow.

Lastly I would like to say that HireAHelper is a wonderful company to work for as an independent contractor and be a customer of, they take great care of their customers and offer reimbursement for any damages that could have possibly been made during the course of your move. They move quickly and investigate any claims made to them in a timely manner. They are a fair company and they are very easy to work with. HireAHelper will get to work immediately on any claims made and do work in a timely manner to satisfy customers being reimbursed.

We charge an extra 20% for same day requests.
Next Day Moves
We accept next day requests at our normal rates.
Refunding Unused Time
We do not refund for any unused time.
Extra Hours
We can always stay at least 1 hour over the prebooked time.
