We are a family owned and operated company based out of KC. One is an ex WyCo Deputy Sheriff. We are experienced, specialized and skilled in loading and unloading. We strive to serve you and ensure your needs are top priority, and ease your stress of moving by doing the work for you. We are accredited by the BBB as well. We offer crews in various sizes from 2 movers to 5 movers. Always uniformed. Background checked.

Setting up the service was easy and fast. The workers arrived on time and were friendly and professional. The “manager” of the 3 person crew was very attentive to our instructions. He explained he had experience loading pods but his assistants did not so he would be directing them. The only tools they brought was an appliance dolly but no straps or even gloves for the crew. The lack of experience and knowledge of loading a pod became painfully apparent when we see them carry out mattresses and set them uncovered on the ground.
After they left we opened one pod to see if there was any room. It looked like all of our wooden chairs had just been thrown in. Nothing had been tied down and the pod was packed inefficiently. We ended up pulling over half of the items out and reloading and securing the pod with twine which is recommended. We were able to load much more in the pod than the loaders had.
We also tried to open the other pod but were unable to open the door and realized that our leather sofa is leaning against the door and we were never able to open the pod to check out the load. I could raise the door about 10”, enough to look in and see the sofa was uncovered and the leather is directly against the door. I expect the sofa to be damaged when the door is pried open. This most likely happened because it wasn’t tied off before they shut the door.
So although they were punctual and friendly their lack of experience in loading pods was obvious. I hired this company from the hire a helper app which was linked to the pods website. I would think the loaders would have at least watched the pod video showing how to load a pod. It appears they didn’t since they didn’t follow many of the guidelines about stacking and tying off at various segments along the pod. Our pods will be in storage for a few weeks so I will not know what damage we will sustain in the pod we couldn’t access. I will not use them again nor can I recommend them.

Chris & Jenn did a wonderful job of packing all of my possessions into the POD, which I rented for a cross country relocation. They arrived right on time, they were hard workers (in 90+ degree heat, handled all of my possessions with extreme care, and loaded the POD so that there should be no shifting during transit. I would highly recommend DeMac Contracting for any packing or moving jobs. I was extremely satisfied with their work!

We charge an extra 20% for same day requests.
Next Day Moves
We accept next day requests at our normal rates.
Refunding Unused Time
We do not refund for any unused time.
Extra Hours
We can always stay at least 1 hour over the prebooked time.
