Big Boys Moving is truly amazing and they not only did a wonderful job of packing my Relo-Cubes but also went above and beyond and rearranged boxes to make it fit even better. And that all with staying inside the timeframe. I highly recommend them and would hire them again in a heartbeat if I would not be moving out of State. Too bad I can only give 5 Stars because they do deserve 6! You guys are fantastic !!!

When we selected Big Boy we were impressed with their rating system. However, our use of their service has turned into a financial nightmare.
We caution you that if ANYTHING goes wrong you will have a hard time having your calls returned and rectifying the situation over the phone. One of the owners only communicates via text message.
They have offered us $200 for our damage (which will not cover the cost we paid to Big Boy to move our furniture to begin with ~$250), our $800 washing machine, nor the damage to our furniture. Let me mention that we provided furniture pads that they did not use. They have even insulted us saying that it cannot be proved that the washing machine even worked before we moved it.
To add insult to injury, they do not answer their phone and only communicate via text message.
We were told last week by Aaron that he would make this right and he would get back to us Monday. Neither of that happened.

Dear Aaron:
Your work crew moved my wife and myself out of our apartment in Baton Rouge on Wednesday July 31st.
Attached you will find the picture documentation that we discussed on Thursday August 1st. See various photos of furniture damage as well as carelessness in packing.
A couple things in addition to note about the pictures.
1) Boxes that were clearly marked fragile were placed on the bottom of several boxes. We have broken dishes. An experienced mover knows better. (See photos).
2) We provided rope and cables. In addition, we purchased a dozen furniture pads from Penske (see photo documentation) as well as bubble wrap. As soon as the movers arrived, I showed them the furniture pads located in the front of the truck as well as the bubble wrap.They were not utilized as shown in the bundle picture. We are greatly disturbed by the scratch marks on our furniture, which could have been prevented by using the furniture pads we supplied.
3) The movers were half an hour late and rushed our job in the final hour after a manager called and told them they needed to move on to the next job.
What we are most concerned about, however, is the destruction of our washer.
My wife, mother, and father all heard a loud boom when the movers were transporting the washer down a flight of stairs. We thought if anything was amiss the movers would let us know. Upon moving out the washer in our new home in Savannah we noticed large gash marks and dents (from the drop) and now the washer knob is spinning haplessly. If the movers dropped our washer, they should have let us know immediately. That is the honest thing to do. Instead, we pieced together the situation when we unloaded a dented and damaged washer in Savannah. We are a one-household income here in Savannah and cannot afford to buy a new washer. The loss of our washer is creating tremendous stress.
You promised you would make this right. We are hoping you will keep to your word. We hired your company to avoid moving mistakes, not to create a financial headache that quite honestly we cannot afford.

This has been one of the most devastating experiences of my life. One of these individuals disconnected the ice maker in my refrigerator and moved the appliance to one of the PODS I rented. The water was left dripping from the line. My house was for sale and scheduled to go to a closing on 7/29/13. Immediately before, the prospective buyers visited the site and informed me of serious water damage to the house. In compensation, the buyers requested all of my appliances to effect the closing of the sale. The appliances had to be removed from the POD. The next day I went to where the PODS were stored to remove the appliances. Lawn furniture, and metal objects were placed on top of wooden furniture which resulted in scraping and scratches to bedroom furniture (i.e. beds, dressers, and wooden chests). The finish on one bed is almost ruined. These individuals moved my belongings so quickly, I didn't know it was placed in that manner. They were provided with sofa cushions rugs and blankets to protect wooden items, and ratcheting straps to tie the items down. It is obvious they have little experience, and even less regard for customers belongings
Secondly, I begged these individuals to be careful with my belongings before they started. There was white paint on bedroom dressers and a curio where the door jambs were scraped with the furniture. Brown stains were left on white wood work in the house. This was not cheap furniture, and I don't know if it can be repaired. People need to be vary wary of who they entrust their belongings to.

This was the best moving service we have ever used. They were on time and did the job in 1/2 of the time we expected. The entire service was so professionally done from the booking, to the confirmations, to the actual service and the ease of payment. I would use them again and would highly recommend them!!!! We hired Big Boys to pack a 26' moving truck and watching Daniel coordinate his team to pack that truck with ZERO empty space remaining was like watching a conductor lead a symphony orchestra. They did an awesome job! Would definitely recommend and use again personally.

I paid for two helpers for three hours, to unload a fully-packed PODS container. The crew showed up 1/2 hour early, and it was three helpers instead of two. They were very nice, friendly young men, and worked quickly. They were careful with my belongings, and if they saw any damage they pointed it out to me as they brought the items off the container. (Most of the damage occurred before/during the container loading. These guys did not damage anything they handled.) They were done in 1.5 hours!
I should also mention, I was moving into a 2-story townhouse and all the boxes had to go upstairs because the downstairs flooring is being replaced this week. They did not grumble at all about that. One of the helpers was in training, and they took care to explain to him how to get furniture through the door without causing damage.
Would definitely recommend them, and will use them again if I ever have another move!

Big Boys Moving did a good job supporting our move. They showed up on time and worked hard loading the unit, in the amount of time that was planned. If you are looking for some good support, I recommend BBM.

They guys were great. We were in a pinch and needed last minute help. The guys showed up 45 minutes after I booked them and were extremely efficient. I thought the job would take 4 hours and it only took 2.5.
