First let me say that the two guys who eventually showed up to help us unload two pods did a pretty good job. They were careful and polite and they worked hard. However, they were completely exhausted and 4.5 hours late getting to my home. The job before mine was estimated at two hours and apparently took closer to 7 hours.
I had to call the manager several times for updates to see what was going on.
Then - after working for us for 2.5 hours, about an hour after they left, I got a call from a different manager who said "I'm just calling to see if my guys ever showed up and if they did a good job or not". Really?
Whether this was something they could control or not, I feel like Big Boys should have been more on top of the situation and sent a different pair of movers as soon as they realized the problem so that I didn't have the stress and wasted time that we endured.

Big Boys was great with flexibility as we had to change the date of our move and they accommodated us completely. However, the guys that showed up had a move earlier in the day and were pretty worn out. They finished the job, but it took much longer than it would have had they been fresh and ready to work. I would recommend Big Boys, but make sure you are the first move of the day or that extra guys are available for later moves.

Big Boys Moving was great for loading my POD. They were on time, made quick work of the job, and secured all my belongings professionally. I would definitely suggest them if you are moving in New Orleans.

These guys were fantastic. They were on time and moved all of our heavy furniture out of a 2nd story apartment in under 2 hours. They were creative and found ways to move things that didn't fit down the stairs, and were polite and courteous the entire time.

I reserved 4 guys to move my things into storage. They were on time and very professional. They came prepared and were respectful. We had one injury on the job (luckily not a bad one), but the other three guys picked up the slack while the injured one rested a bit. They apologized because one of them was injured.
I would definitely recommned them again. In fact, I will use them when I move from storage to my next residence.
