I was in a tuff predicament. The helpers I had hire thru. another site, did not show or answer their phone. John and his helper showed up on time and went straight to work and did not stop till it was done. They took great care with all of our property and the home we were moving out of. Would I hire them again? Yes! I already have for another job I have. I would highly recommend the Works Services anytime!!

They were wonderful. Polite, friendly, respectful of our home and very careful. THey called when they were going to be 10 minutes late. They were fast and efficient.

We had to reschedule with them twice due to a delay in the arrival of our POD that was communicated to us very late on the day it was originally supposed to arrive. Thankfully they were very willing to make last minute changes. Once they were finally able to come help unload the work went very quickly. We couldn't be more thankful.

John and everyone did an outstanding job. I had a beast of a desk with a thick granite top. They were not going to let this desk beat them. Some problem solving and they got the desk down from the second floor to the awaiting PODS container with no damage to them or property. Good job!

This rating applies to the helpers on Oct 3 only. It appeared that the helpers who helped on Oct 3 did a good job. However, after unloading and unpacking things we noticed that a Bang & Olufsen radio was missing! We checked with the new owners of our previous residence and nothing was left in the house. The helpers who helped on Oct 1 had asked me where I wanted the radio and I had answered I did not know yet, maybe I would put it in the car. After that the radio never showed up any more, and I did not think about it, because we were in a hurry to get everything loaded. Fact is the radio did not show up at our destination, and I leave it up to your imagination what might have happened to it. I got in touch with the foreman of the Oct 1 team, but apart from his announcement to talk to the helpers, I have not received an answer. Also we offered the first helpers material to pad sensitive objects, like paintings and furniture, which they did not use. In retrospect I must change my judgment of the first helpers. They took way too long to start out and they did not have a good assessment of how much space they would have to use. They spent almost an hour to needlessly stuff things into sideboards, while in the last hour they were in a hurry to put things into the truck with some reasonable order. They spent a quarter hour on the phone with their foreman, who showed up, took the dolly they had brought, so for the most heavy items they had to use my own dolly even though it was way too weak for the purpose. They also charged for an extra half hour after they had wasted a quarter hour talking on the phone.
I hope that HireAHelper will get in touch to have this issue clarified.

wow....can't believe they fit it all in the pod....excellent packing skills and wonderful attitude. Hopefully everything will still be in place after the pod travels to the east coat, but it sure looks good from this end.
John & Mike were just great, on time and it took them exactly 2 hours to pack a 16 foot pod as quoted

Guys did a great job. Showed up on time, worked their butts off, and packed our Pod very compactly and efficiently. Very pleased. Be forewarned that if you book for 4 hours and they finish in 2, you still pay for 4. Since they worked so hard we didn't mind.

Who knew hiring a company to load 3 Door -to- Door moving containers in my driveway could be such a pleasant experience.... I love nice surprises and this morning was certainly one of these.
John and his co-worker were both pleasant and very efficient, super fast and took care with my belongings, loading more into the containers than I had ever thought possible..... I'm really impressed.... again, thanks so much guys, I'll be in touch when the time comes to unload. Bottom line, no worries when you hire "The Works" Bev 19 June 2014
