The movers arrived and completed the job in less than the time allotted. They worked hard and did a great job! They were very careful.
Their night might have been easier if they had brought a dolly. They unloaded the whole truck by hand.

They were extremely slow moving. Took 4 hours to unpack one dresser, one chest, 2 night stands, two box springs and mattresses, a sectional sofa, dining room, side board and 10 chairs. There were a few smaller pieces. Complained about putting the beds together. I put my table together because they don't do that.
Why would I hire movers who don't want to put my furniture together. They said it took them long because I have a long hallway. They had dolley's they were using to come down the hall. I'm 50 and I move faster than they do.
Also my diamond pendant was missing from my drawer with a couple of silver chains. My fault for not moving them.
I would never use HIRE A HELPER again. I moved several times It was the worst moving service I ever had.
I was told I had insurance and if I wanted to buy extra. I thought it covered the damage to the TV. Apparently not. My other movers always covered damages that incurred during the move. Apparently you don't have the same standards and want to charge extra for the same service.

Brian and his crew were fantastic! They expertly loaded all of possessions into 2 16' storage containers. They really knew what they were doing and were extremely professional and courteous the entire time. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone!

Showed up 15 minutes early for the work. Stayed twice as long as I had booked and were happy to make sure we got everything moved that we wanted moved. 2 guys loaded and unloaded a 15’ truck twice in 6.5 hours. This was to finish the job that I had hired Rockwell’s moving to do. They had 4 people and about a 26’ truck that they could barely load half way in the same amount of time.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
We like to give an Eta once its known, you can expect communication on arrival and job progress. On time arrival, courteous and respectful movers.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
All we ask from our customers is guidance! Of course we would like everything packed and ready but that's not always the case, So if you can just let us know where everything goes, any pre-cautions, or requests we will take care of the rest! (We don't mind helping to finish up some packing here and there.)
What types of moves have you handled?
We have done long distance and local moves, packing customer belongings, cleaning up after the move. We have move Pods, Pakrats, ABF trailers, u-hauls/upacks. We also move heavy/bulk items such as pianos, gun-safes, and pooltables,etc.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
We have moved literally every year growing up, and I can't tell you how much movers would have made a difference! We love to help take the stress and strain off our customers during this difficult, yet exciting time.

Same Day Moves
We charge an extra 20% for same day requests.
Next Day Moves
We accept next day requests at our normal rates.
Refunding Unused Time
We do not refund for any unused time.
Extra Hours
We can always stay at least 2 hours over the prebooked time.
