They were on time and ready to go when they arrived. Both of them were hard working and very respectful of not damaging anything. They did a great job packing our things into the pod and filled every inch so we wouldn’t have to leave things behind. I would definitely recommend and use them again.

Helpers were delayed by several hours. It didn’t appear to be their fault, but caused problems for us.

I would like to say a big thank you to the movers. They were very professional. They were on time and had everything they needed to do the job. They were very respectful and took care with my things. I would recommend them and when my next POD is delivered, I hope I get the same people again.

Had 2 guys come to unload - 2 (12 foot containers). Had a couple pieces that were heavy. They used their lift straps and had a tough time getting up the stairs. One piece they say on the top tread of the stair and scuffed the stair. Luckily I know how to fix this with stain and will do so myself.
They also wanted to bring in a 2 wheeler on my new floors and I told them NO. The do not bring any protective coverings for flooring and thought is was OK to use the 2 wheeler.
This is the 2nd time using Moving Boys and had issues. Probably will look elsewhere going forward.

Hireahelper disappointed me. Made reservation for 3 guys. Only two guys show up for the job. Hireahelper AT A MINIMUM SHOULD HAVE CALLED AND SAID SORRY TO LET ME KNOW! No call, no apology, and made a $47 ‘adjustment’ to a $794 job. Me pitching in for the missing guy for 6 hours required more than $47. Low class. I would avoid this place. For the record, the two that did show worked hard.
And did the job while hire a helper adjusted the rate from a 3 man job to a 2 man job. We ask… be realistic, dont be a jackwagon to companies who are striving to provide service with a cancel work culture we are dealing with.

Arrived 45 minutes late; did call that they were running late. Worked hard to move difficult items without any damage to house. Could have used a couple of more straps. Claimed that description of work that I had provided to Hire a Helper had not been shared with them. Helpful to the fullest extent possible. Courteous and easy to work with. Yes, I would use them again.

The men were hard workers and took care to handle furniture gently. They were very polite and friendly. They loaded and unloaded without wasting any time. There was nothing broken the whole move.
However, they were a half hour late and whoever it was who assigned them the job did not take my information and use it wisely. The person I spoke to assured me that she understood how rural the location was and how steep and curvy the roads would be, yet they truck had trouble getting there on time. The truck was also too small for the job of a three story, two bedroom house and as a result, somethings were put in my car and some things were left behind. On the whole, though, the move went better than I thought it would.

We treat our clients like family and work as hard and diligently as possible to make your moving experience as great as possible.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
We will walk you through our process starting with a walk through of your home or business documenting with pictures the condition everything is in to ensure if any damages occur that you are covered with documentation. We start when we arrive, just as you would expect from and service provider.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Make sure your pod,trailer, or truck is on site before we arrive. Please have all needed equipment available for our crew's, I.E. rope,straps,plastic wrap, blankets, ext. Please be aware that our crews will call the day of your move when heading to you with an eta.
What types of moves have you handled?
We service all need. In almost 2 decades of services we have done it all.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
The satisfaction of the client.
What training do you provide your crew members?
Our crews members are screened and trained hands-on by management before entering the field. Management consists of long-term employees that worked up our ranks from the bottom.

Same Day Moves
We charge an extra 20% for same day requests.
Next Day Moves
We accept next day requests at our normal rates.
Refunding Unused Time
We do not refund for any unused time.
Extra Hours
We can always stay at least 1 hour over the prebooked time.
