Randall and his crew were great! These guys were courteous, careful, prompt AND STRONG! They hand-carried almost everything out of my 2nd-floor walk up flat - including a very, very heavy and awkward solid marble coffee table. Incredible.
And, these guys didn't waste any time, either. They're only break came when we insisted that they join us for hamburger AFTER all the work was done.

They showed up nearly on time - 15 min late (no problem). Worked really hard, as we had lots of stuff to move.
I was somewhat frustrated by the calculation of how much time we'd need - we had a 2 bed house and the estimate was that we'd need 2 people for 2 hours, but it took 5. Part of the problem was certainly due to the fact that we were loading up a moving van for a cross-country trip. And we had to pay by the foot, so it was critical it was packed in tight. This just took a lot longer than any of us expected. We made it - but just barely.
My only complaint is that they were a bit dismissive for what I wanted to pack with me - suggesting we leave our fake plants behind. And the mood got a bit tense as we were running over so much, and were really stretching to fit everything. It was exhausting for everyone, which I understand, but I didn't appreciate having to advocate so strongly for making sure we fit in the most important pieces for us.
That said, the lead guy (Randall) apologized for this afterwards - and appreciated he noticed it. Admittedly, it was a tough situation that ran long by 3 hours.
Overall, they were great and I would use them again.

This was my 4th move in two years. August Movers was the best of all the movers I've used. They were on time, They were clean in their appearance and did not smoke on the job. They also were very friendly. They were very careful with my belongings and completed the job in a timely fashion. I will use them again and would highly recommend them.
