A Plus Moving showed up on time and moved quickly. The problem came at off-loading the 16’ truck.
The last item removed was a full-length mirror. It was cracked. I offered to take the mirror myself another time but John was fully confident he could move it without harm.
The 3 stars is based on how he handled the damage. First, he focused on the rivets along the back shelf of the truck, proud that he figured out what caused it. He said he squeezed the mirror tight by other items in front of it. The bolt's protruded about 3/16” from the shelf. I agreed, but it was nevertheless broken because he didn’t put a packing blanket behind the mirror to keep the bolts from pushing into it.
As we discussed he said it might have also been my driving (he was never more than 60’ behind me and until the damage never brought up my driving. He then blamed it on the “cheap backing” on the mirror. Finally, when discussing filing an insurance claim, he doubted the price I paid for it at Walmart.
Once I got tired of his deflection and never taking responsibility by saying he should have used a pad to protect it, it was clear I didn’t want to be in a 3-way war between him and an insurance company who would not want to pay..so, I told him it was OK and just throw the mirror away.
I believe a man’s character is shown when things aren’t working well. Deflecting and taking no responsibility for your actions aren’t a part of character to me.

John Harvath and Al were professional, effective, and responsible movers! They went above expectations and knew what was needed for a superior move. Al was extremely respectful and responsible. I was very impressed with this young man professionalism and polite mannerism. He taught me about moving techniques and his effective, speedy, professionalism was top notch. John knew the moving business well and the two of them made an effective team. It was hot as heck, but these two never wasted a minute! I rate it 100% effective! Would hire them again!!

Workers arrived on time with all the necessary equipment. After explaining what was to be moved, they quickly and efficiently preformed the loading. After arriving at the destination, they efficiently removed unneeded furniture from the new home. They removed a stair fence before moving items int the house. After moving all the furniturenin the housr, they reattached the stair fencing. The helped move old furniture into my truck for disposal. I would cheerfully recommend them for anyone's move

Both John and Al were wonderful. They arrived on time and finished within the expected time frame. They were polite and listened to our needs and accomplished their tasks on a very hot day (98). Highly recommended!!!!
