I give credit when credit is due and A Plus Moving deserves credit. John made contact the day prior to ensure we were on the same page. John and Miles showed up on time on moving day. They assessed the situation and created a plan that not only worked for them but accommodated my wants and needs. From disassembling/unmounting to strategically packing the truck. John had the best strategy to pack the truck in a way I’ve never seen before. The movers that had to unload the truck in a different state were very impressed with how well the truck was loaded. Thank you, John and Miles, for accommodating us and accomplishing such a challenging task.

John & his assistant were the only reason we could move the stuff we moved as we had very little help otherwise! They knew how to take everything apart, how to best load it, etc & came with the needed equipment. It was a difficult job because there was so much in the house but we were only taking certain things so communication was important & they worked with us well.

First, A Plus Moving was an hour and 15min late from the 9-10AM arrival window (arrived at 11:15AM). I had to call and ask for ETA multiple times. Then the main connect, John, arrived wearing crocs. In opinion are not proper shoes for moving furniture and boxes. John had an awful attitude the entire time. Complained about everything and treated his assist very poorly. Dwayne, the assist, was very nice and professional as much as he could be with John being the lead. They didn't finish loading a 21ft truck in 4hrs. Everything was packed and furniture was already wrapped for them. They only had to load it. They were very slow. In my opinion, that was on purpose. Then John said 2hrs in "this isn't going to be finished in 4hrs, I'm not sure if you had another plan" - and moaned and complained when I asked why. I've moved across the country twice and I knew it could be done in 4hrs if they were moving a bit faster. I asked for all furniture and appliances to be blanketed (and provided the blankets) - nothing in the truck was blanketed by them if I hadn't already wrapped it. I hope nothing will be damaged but I have a feeling something will be. They cleaned up 15min early and packed his hand trucks and left. We had to hire extra people the next day to finish. The other company completed the rest in 45min. I WOULD NEVER HIRE THIS COMPANY AGAIN!
