I would rate the service as just okay. The movers were supposed to arrive at our home at 8:00am and didn't show up until 12:30pm. Due to the issue with the timing, we were able to get 3 helpers instead of 2, however the 3rd helper wasn't feeling well and sat out the majority of the time it took to move our items out of our house.
Also, the movers arrived without hand trucks making it a lot more difficult as they had to carry every box by hand. As I appreciate their hard work considering it was one of the hottest days of the year, they were not very careful with some of the items and left a mark and dent on one of our walls. We contacted the owner of ASAP moving who advised that he would come personally the following Tuesday to fix it for us and we have yet to receive a response from him. I found this to be unprofessional and wouldn't recommend their services again.

I utilized ASAP Moving and Labor to pack my Pack Rat. They arrived close to schedule and completed the job in two hours. They were very careful with my belongings. I thought that my items would not fit in the Pack, but they did a great job in getting everything in place with room to spare. The 3 workers were Wayne, Mark and Bodie.
The only concern that I had was that there was some confusion regarding the number of hours that I had booked. This was quickly straightened out though. I would use the company again.

they were very nice and got the job done for us. Our only 'gripe' would be that their estimated arrival time at our home changed a couple of times...this made it difficult for us to plan to have friends/family come help us once the movers were done. Other than that, they're terrific!!

It was an one bedroom moving. Three helpers came in the hot afternoon and finished it for two hours. They were more professional than me PhD in moving. I will use them again.

They had some mechanical issues so were unable to make it at the initially scheduled time, but they were able to reschedule for early the next morning. They were on time and kept in contact to give me updates. The movers were very fast and efficient and completed the job on time. They did a great job getting a large bookcase down a narrow flight of stairs and were able to pack a PODS unit very efficiently. The only confusion was about the hauling service which I didn't realize was a separate service with additional fees, but they were able to arrange for it quickly. Would definitely recommend their service.

ASAP were not professional in their work. Wanted to re-estimate for a work lesser than 2 hours which was completed in 1 hour. I will not recommend them in future

Eric and his team did a wonderful job packing up my pack rat container. Everything went according to my schedule and the guys were very friendly & hard workers. They did a good job wrapping my furniture and did not charge extra fees for shrink wrap. They were able to pack up the container to full capacity. My husband & I were very pleased with their service.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
Relief & professionalism. They also can expect to get more items in their POD or Pack-rat / Rental Truck than they expected. They should expect to save a bunch of money on PODS and the Amount of PODS they need to move.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
A Early arrival & communication. A day %100 dedicated to getting their job done in a efficient time with no damages or mistakes.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Make sure you have blankets! If you are renting a POD or Pack-Rat Be sure to tell them to throw 1-2 dozen blankets in the container before its delivered. Most of the time they don't even charge you. Also gather any washable blankets , sheets or towels we can use for protection... This way you don't have to break the bank on blankets. We also have started to use Boxes from Home depot. Lowes or Walmart. We can cut the boxes open and use them for TV crating, protection of Glass & Surfaces for stacking.
What types of moves have you handled?
NYC jewelry store to LA, NYC home building associations , residential moves, Las Vegas Convention Center (Santee Cosmetics), Oz mannequins + Commercial Appliance Moves. I also moved Rosie O'donnel & Michelle Rounds & many other celebs.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
New scenery & meeting cool. interesting nice people.
What training do you provide your crew members?
We watch you tube moving self help videos to stay fresh & consider new techniques to add to our skill sets. We also stretch daily & incorporate cardio into our lives to stay conditioned.
