There are many reasons for this poor review. First, I was contacted three separate times before the move and had to verify the moving address each time. Second, I verified (twice, two separate times) that the movers would be bringing the various supplies promised on their website (plastic wrap, etc.) That promise was one of the reasons I chose A&J Relocation Services. When the movers showed up and I asked about the materials, they told me they had nothing and hadn't been told to bring them. Third, the movers were nice enough verbally, but dismissive of my requests. At one point they put a _very_ heavy furniture item on top of a lighter furniture item which would break. I politely pointed out the problem. As soon as I turned around, they'd done it again, this time with a _different_ piece of heavy furniture. I had to point it out again, which, to say the least, did not inspire me with confidence. Fourth and finally, they did not pack a very expensive piece of furniture correctly, even though we discussed it several times and I explained that my specifications were due to the manufacturer's stipulations, not my own preferences. Fifth, I called the customer service line but had to leave a voicemail. They still have not called me back. In a nutshell, I am very disappointed with the service and very frustrated with the results. I would not recommend them, and I would not use them again.

They had some scheduling confusion and were several hours late, but they recovered well by adding an extra person and had my move done on time. Overall I was impressed how hard they worked on a hot day and took care of my property. I'd use them again.

These guys were helpful, but two hours late. They did communicate, but the delay added a lot of extra stress and juggling. The other concern was that they did not cover items so that much of my furniture was scratched from the vibration of the move. However, they worked hard!

They were suppose to be at the apartment between 11:00 and 11:30. They showed up at 1:50. They did contact us and let us know that they would be late due to the job before us took more time then the clients had told them it would take (which is really not their fault). Once they were there they worked their tails off! Very efficient and skillful. They handled our items very carefully and nothing was damaged. They were pleasant to work with and very respectful. I would defiantly use them again and refer them to friends.
