The two fellows were good workers, but did not seem to be experienced movers. I bought straps to be used to secure things in position in the shipping pods, but they ignored them. It appears that nothing was done to prevent the load from shifting or heavier things from crushing less sturdy things. I also bought a roll of mover's wrap to secure drawers in chests and things like that, but they ignored that too. The first set of Hire-A-Helper folks that filled the 2 pods up halfway used the straps and the wrap and things appeard to be tied down pretty good. But I'm expecting a lot of damage during this move. The 75" TV is simply stood up at the opening of the pod, and when the door is rolled up, there will be nothing to prevent it from tumbling out and smashing itself on the ground. It is about 80 lbs, so that is the likely result unless someone catches it. I intend to be there with 2 hire-a=heloer folks to attempt to catch it, but don't know how much if any things will be pressing on it from behilnd after falling on it. It is in a box, so thtat will help, but we may or may not be successful.
I looked and looked through hire-a-helper to attempt to get the 1st 2 people I had, but could not find them or their company. Hopefully I will get experienced movers next time.

The 3 guys arrived on time after calling to give a 20-min "heads up" on their ETA. Very friendly. They unloaded our 26' truck carefully but SLOWLY. They respected our goods. My only complaint is that I had to help unload because they would not have finished on time because they would literally take one box in the house at a time even after I suggested stacking 2-3 lighter ones at a time. They even commented on how *I* was carrying in more than them at one point. Not cool. Don't think I would use them again, even though they did ultimately finish on time and did their job. Just slowly. Could have just been that particular crew.

Showed up 3 hours late, but called to let me know they were running late. They did a good job when they showed and got right to work despite having just drove 2 hours from Baltimore near the end of the day on a long and tough job. Brought a heavy piece of equipment up the stairs and was very careful not to damage walls, stairs or the expensive piece of gear. I would recommend them again.
