Move assist did a fantastic job with my move. On time, very helpful and efficient. Did everything possible to try to fit my couch into my new apartment (removing doors, frames, etc). Mark & Tommy were great. They were professional, courteous, timely, time efficient during the move and communicated with me prior to move to alleviate any worries. When I requested a time change less than 24 hrs prior to move they accommodated the request. Would definitely use again if I have another Chicago move.

I cannot begin to say how GREAT Mark and Phil were at moving my home. They had a very difficult job ahead of them with a third floor move and never once did they complain. They were extremely professional and expediant in moving my belongings from my 3rd floor condo (no elevator) to my new house. Everything arrived intact and in good condition. They were always pleasant and willing to go the extra mile to make sure everything went well. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for qualified and expert movers. I definitely would use them again.

My evaluation is that yes, the Move Assist crew was efficient, on time and got the job done as requested. They were quite courteous, and professional. However, on the other hand they did not pack my computer or my stereo systems, both of which ended up being damaged by the movers the next day, and are now inoperable. My computer hard drive was also horribly scratched, my 400-disk CD deck no longer plays and the contents of my storage locker also went unpacked by Move Assist. All of that, plus at the end of the packing job the owner's wife--whom he said never comes along on jobs--felt the need to make a speech about why they deserved a tip, as if offering a gratuity was something I wasn't already going to do. This offended me. The requested itemization of their charges was never received, but I still recommend this company and would use them again.
We are sorry to hear that the moving company you hired to move you into your new home didn't take care of your electronics. We attempted to pack your electronics& storage,so that no damage would occur during the transit. However, your movers were coming in a few hours, and as requested we just left some packing materials. Your invoice was sent via USPS. As for a tip we mentioned if you chose to include one, it would be at your discretion,we sincerely apologize for any misunderstanding.
