I should have hired them for 2 hours & then extended instead if the 4 hours which I didn't need them for. I have never hired movers before so I didn't know how long it would take. They (along w/ 3 of my friends) moved everything in under 2 hours. However, they charged me for 3, therefore I did not tip them. If they had pro-rated to 2 hours I would have. Regardless they showed up at 8:45 which was early & it was actually right on time & did a great job. 2 things got a little messed up but I'm not pointing fingers.

They were on time and they came prepared. The first 2 hours they really hustled. Then it moved into 3 hours, then 4 hours and then 4.5 hours. It just seemed like they padded the hours a bit. Overall they packed well. My only complaint was my vintage neon beer sign was discovered on unloading to be just laid on top, no packing or blanket. Some expensive framed artwork that was carefully packed by me was discovered crammed against the wall of the truck with heavy boxes partially crushing the box (fortunately, I over packed it and it was fine). On the other hand, they wrapped the heck out of our 4, not so expensive dining room chairs.
Over all, they were courteous and reasonably careful. I would definitely get better clarification on their estimates. I fully laid out what we had, exact stair count total to sidewalk (4 + 10 + 6) and short to medium walkout. The response when I asked why it was dragging as we moved into the 3rd hour was "you have a lot of stairs". Over all, the price ended being what we didn't want to pay with a better moving company because we wanted to save some money.
I don't have anything exactly bad to say about them, but I would absolutely get more estimates and layout "exactly" what you have.

Expect us to come on time, be fully prepared and fully equipped on your moving day. We might give you a call upon our arrival to confirm the arrival time. Expect courteous and professional work by our movers.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Make sure to prepare a few moving blankets and may be a plastic bag for your matress. We will deliver the rest for your move.
What types of moves have you handled?
Currently we handle local and long distance moves going as far as 300 miles
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
It's meeting new people every day and seeing new places. Some workout is also big plus.
What training do you provide your crew members?
We train our movers to be precisly polite and respectful to the customer's household and its belongings. New members learn at first how to wrap and protect and handle the things. Maneuvering and moving large furniture skills next. We train our movers how to pack a pod or truck like playing the tetris game.
