I have used other services available at Hire a Helper with great results. This company was my least favorite.
The work was done on time, involving a second stop close by with a small pick up, which is why I gave them three stars not two.
The men seemed unconcerned with the weight of the boxes as they stacked them in the truck and stood my pillow top mattress up in the truck, not laying it flat on the top of the boxes as I have done in the past.
As I watched my new couch go in, it was placed laying down upside down with my dining room curio going underneath it. When I expressed concern I was told they do this all the time and boxes would be fine stacked on top. There was no way I was going to have boxes piled onto the back of my couch. the weight would rip the fabric for sure. I stood up the couch with the help of a friend, moved my curio to the corner of the truck, put it upright. I then stacked the rest of the boxes myself moving forward.
Everything I arranged in the truck and stacked made it to my FL location just fine. My mattress was damaged which I repaired later that evening. I had to cut it open on the bottom to flatten out the frame and pillow top. I regret leaving it in the truck tied in the way they had left it.
Overall...It was helpful to have Rigo movers. I could not have done this myself and within the two hours. My advice... I would use them only for a short local move in CA but not a long distance prep.

Kept us updated of arrival time and were even 30 minutes early. Worked hard the whole 4 hours, careful with our items. Expert at "Tetrising" the POD! Would definitely hire them again, and recommend them with 5 stars.

I can't express how impress I was with these two movers enough. My move was a same day move from Oceanside, stopping at another location in Carlsbad to pick up my desk, and ended all the way in Van Nuys. The gentleman arrived on time with the truck, brought ALL the proper equipment, loaded everything up (including wrapping the furniture) from the 2nd floor with care, disassembled two desks and even rearranged some furniture in the home for my parents before leaving. When we made it to Van Nuys, they brought eveything inside the home in its proper rooms and re-assembled both desks. The best part? ALL of this was done from 7am-11:25am. ONLY 4 1/2 hours!!! Loading at two location and unloading over an hour away!! I could NOT believe we were already settled in to our new home so quickly. I thought it was going to take all day but thank goodness we were able to have time for relaxing thanks to Rigo's!

We are a professional moving company where our clients always come first. Our customers can expect an amazing job outcome by our movers because we are trained and have the proper materials needed for the job.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
Our customers can expect a well prepared crew with all the materials needed for their move. They can also expect to be stress free during their move because of how reliable our movers are.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Customers should prepare for the day of the move depending on what services they get/want. We reccomend that clients remove clothing from drawers, wardrobes, etc, to make the items less heavy for our movers. Always label your boxes. We also recommend to speak with our project manager about materials needed for the job to have them ready for the day of the move. Lastly, feel free to ask questions with our project manager about any concerns to be informed on what to do the day of the move.

Our favorite part of being a mover is seeing the relief on our clients face after getting the job done. We love being able to make our clients move stress free as much as possible.
What training do you provide your crew members?
We provide all of our employees with a one month training program at our head quarters to help them gain experience by teaching them good communication skills, how to pack fragile items into boxes, move heavy items using the proper equipment, stack the trucks or containers using every inch of space, etc.
