Nate and his men did a great job. He called to reconfirm, then called when they were on the way and followed up after the job. They were all very cordial and pleasant and did the job in the allotted time. Not to mention that it was a horrible weather day and they kept a good attitude throughout. I would recommend them highly.

The two helpers were here at the time we agreed on. They were courteous, helpful and did a great job in the allotted two hours signed up for. The only complaint, not really a complaint, but a suggestion for the owner of Jack of Trades is that he initiate the call to the client once accepting the job. We ended up having to contact him to confirm. Also the day of the move, since it was raining so hard, I called to make sure that the job was still on as scheduled. He returned my call and said that it was and for me to contact the helper, who will be helping me to move. He then gve me the helper's name and telephone number. This contact information, we felt should have been given to us at the time weI orginally contacted the owner.
Once the job was completed, the helpers contacted the owner in order to let him know that the job was completed, but we had to wait 15 mins before the owner returned their call in order to verify with me that the job was complete and that I was satisfied with the job and that the job had been completed within the 2 hours as agreed. Other than the lack of communication on the owner's part, everything else went very well and the helpers did an excellent job of moving our furniture and setting up at the unload destination. Yes, we
would use this company again , The helpers worked very hard to make sure nothing was broken.
They took care in wrapping the furniture and making sure thar they didn't scratch the walls. This was a good experience
for us using this service.

These guys were FANTASTIC!! They both worked incredibly fast & had my 26' truck unloaded in no time. They even had to walk everything up a very steep driveway the truck couldn't be backed up on! They were amazing!

The guys from Jack-of-Trades were great. They were here right on time and worked hard the entire day. They also had a great attitude and a sense of humor and made the move a lot easier for us. They were also very respectful of our home and property, and were very professional. I would definitely use them again.

We hired three "professional" movers to move our heavy and large furniture from the upstairs of our home. Even though they called several times to tell me they were on the way, they arrived 15 minutes late. They told me two of the three workers did not show so they had to scramble at the last minute. Unfortunately these very nice gentlemen did not have the experience needed. The end result was 1 - a very dirty stairwell where they used their hands on the walls to leverage themselves, 2- nicks and a sizable hole in the drywall that had to be repaired, and lastly the job was not finished. I asked them to leave at the end of the two hours and my husband and I had to finish the job. When I spoke with the person at their office, he asked me to send a picture of the damage which I did. Although Jack of Trades indicated they would take care of it, once I sent the bill, they told me I would have to file a claim. Fortunately Hire-A-Helper stepped in and took responsibility for getting the funds from Jack of Trades and sent me a check. (The insurance only covers the items - not the property). Of course this just covered the drywall repair. It didn't cover my time in washing the walls and painting the handrails and the additional time needed to stay and complete the work. Also, I do have to say my furniture was also nicked and bruised, but not enough to file a claim. Bottom line - I hired professionals to avoid those types of headaches. I was sorely disappointed and I will not use Jack of Trades again. Kudos to Hire-A-Helper for getting me reimbursement for the drywall repair.
