Relocation with PROMOVE
Your experienced movers are mostly Actors, Singers, Musicians and Artists supplementing our income. On time, efficient, careful & courteous. Never a "stairs fee" or any hidden fees. We strive to provide 5 star service on every move. We are careful who we send into your home, around your family and to handle your property, we offer background checked helpers, checked through Hireahelper. INSURANCE through Hireahelper covers goods while being handled by our helpers up to $.60 per pound (policy must be activated by completing an inventory form). Full coverage insurance also available through Hireahelper. We'll never leave you stranded! If late we'll send extra helpers to make up time at no cost when possible. We needed help loading a 16' PODS container in a four-hour window for a cross-country move. PROMOVE provided knowledgeable, friendly, and careful movers who took charge of the process and worked closely with the PODS attendant to meet the deadline while also satisfying the requirements of our picky building super. We would definitely hire this team again.

I was so anxious going into today as everyone knows moving is stressful and exhausting. Fortunately, Nick and Eric made it a breeze. They arrived on time (I was the late one) and ready to work. I appreciated how careful they were with my belongings and strategic they were loading the truck. They were total stars and I’d highly recommend them to anyone needing extra help during a stressful time.

Overall, PROMOVE moved me in timely and without any damage to my belongings. However, the movers assigned to the job were not equal in the service provided and effort which is why I gave them 4 vs 5 stars. One arrived timely, was incredibly professional and courteous. The other arrived late, did not ask to use the restroom 3x within 1.5 hours and was incredibly lazy. He made the other mover do most of the heavy lifting and was constantly checking his phone. Then why I tipped them disproportionately the lazy one could be heard loudly complaining about it. Since it seems like the movers provided could be a mixed bag, not sure I would take the gamble and use them again.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
Your move date is set! Contact for details and any necessary instructions
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
We always show up! On time arrival within the first 20 minutes of the one hour window, with an experienced, professional and courteous crew.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Please have items packed and ready to go (large boxes not too heavy please), furniture blankets to protect your stuff, appropriate size truck for the move. Then wooosah! we got you, you're things are in capable hands.
What types of moves have you handled?
Local, Long distance, Office, Commercial, Specialty moves (larger & fragile medical equipment).
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
No gym membership needed, we get paid to exercise. Our worksite is different everyday & we interact with new people.
What training do you provide your crew members?
Two weeks of moving technique (lifting, turning, angles), teamwork, pacing, basic disassembly/reassembly and materials handling as well as customer service is our basic training. Then more experienced movers ( Courtney, Eric, Yusef, Azar, Ken) have advanced training for loading moving vans.

We accept next day requests at our normal rates.

We do not refund for any unused time.
