Relocation with PROMOVE
Your experienced movers are mostly Actors, Singers, Musicians and Artists supplementing our income. On time, efficient, careful & courteous. Never a "stairs fee" or any hidden fees. We strive to provide 5 star service on every move. We are careful who we send into your home, around your family and to handle your property, we offer background checked helpers, checked through Hireahelper. INSURANCE through Hireahelper covers goods while being handled by our helpers up to $.60 per pound (policy must be activated by completing an inventory form). Full coverage insurance also available through Hireahelper. We'll never leave you stranded! If late we'll send extra helpers to make up time at no cost when possible. What could have been a super stressful move was made much better by the guys from PROMOVE!
Uhaul gave me a 20' truck at the last minute even when I reserved at 26' weeks ago due to lack of inventory. So I was seriously nervous I wouldn't be able to fit everything in. The PROMOVE guys arrived right on time as I was pulling the moving truck up to the building. After doing a quick assessment they had a much more optimistic attitude than I. The guys moved quickly, were super professional, systematic and efficient. They took apart furniture to help fit into the truck and covered fragile pieces with blankets (make sure to have some available for them to use). One of the guys should be a Tetris champion as he managed to fill every last bit of free space in the truck. What was left over was only a few small boxes which I was able to fit in my car. What a relief!
I would highly recommend these guys to anyone! Book these guys without worry.

First off, I'd like to thank Kirk Davis of Promove for being really accommodating and somehow finding the ability to change our unload move at the last moment. Thank you very very much.
Secondly, it very clear how experienced Keith was with moves and he was completely in control of what needed to get done and how to get it done. Keith and Bobby were really wonderful and if you get them for your move, you won't be disappointed. They staked out a good parking space for our uhaul, something incredibly hard to do in nyc.

Professional, respectful, considerate, communicative. The two man team loaded our moving truck for our four day journey across the country. Did a great job of utilizing the space of the truck so that everything fit and was secure and safe for the cross country trek. So glad we went with them!

These guys showed up on time, packed the truck very efficiently, and made my move very easy. They didn't bring a dolly or moving equipment so I would recommend having those ready to help make things go quicker. Wasn't an issue since I had those ready on my end but it's something to keep in mind when preparing for the move.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
Your move date is set! Contact for details and any necessary instructions
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
We always show up! On time arrival within the first 20 minutes of the one hour window, with an experienced, professional and courteous crew.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Please have items packed and ready to go (large boxes not too heavy please), furniture blankets to protect your stuff, appropriate size truck for the move. Then wooosah! we got you, you're things are in capable hands.
What types of moves have you handled?
Local, Long distance, Office, Commercial, Specialty moves (larger & fragile medical equipment).
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
No gym membership needed, we get paid to exercise. Our worksite is different everyday & we interact with new people.
What training do you provide your crew members?
Two weeks of moving technique (lifting, turning, angles), teamwork, pacing, basic disassembly/reassembly and materials handling as well as customer service is our basic training. Then more experienced movers ( Courtney, Eric, Yusef, Azar, Ken) have advanced training for loading moving vans.
