Relocation with PROMOVE
Your experienced movers are mostly Actors, Singers, Musicians and Artists supplementing our income. On time, efficient, careful & courteous. Never a "stairs fee" or any hidden fees. We strive to provide 5 star service on every move. We are careful who we send into your home, around your family and to handle your property, we offer background checked helpers, checked through Hireahelper. INSURANCE through Hireahelper covers goods while being handled by our helpers up to $.60 per pound (policy must be activated by completing an inventory form). Full coverage insurance also available through Hireahelper. We'll never leave you stranded! If late we'll send extra helpers to make up time at no cost when possible. Excellent job by D and Kurt. There was no communication in the first 24 hours, but they both called to confirm the evening before the job. Both were punctual and hard working. They finished a 2 hour job in 1 hour flat. No damage to items or apartment. I would hire these guys again.

The team was great! Moving all of our stuff and large furniture between two fourth-floor walkups on an 80 degree day was not an easy task, but they were able to complete it well. 4 helpers, 3 bedroom apartment, 850 sq ft, 3 hours. Thanks again!

They were great! On time, efficient, polite, you name it! A 4th floor walk up is not an easy task (especially when they carry a couch all the way up and it doesn’t fit so they have to carry it all the way back down..), but they made it look easy! I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone trying to move in NYC. They are reasonably priced, don’t charge you for flights of stairs, and we’re just great all around :)

Timely arrival, very organized and worked very quickly. They finished the job in less time than I requested. I drove almost 900 miles after they loaded my U-Haul and everything was intact upon arrival. They offered an excellent rate and it was well worth it.

The helpers were very collaborative and hard working. My only complaint is about some scratches on the floor and the furniture; they could have taken a little bit more of precaution while moving heavy items. I think that's also on me for not been paying attention to the details.

It was the worst moving process ever experienced. Unprofessional staff, lack of communication, non-existent care to your furniture/property are the few issues I can think of. Damage claims are still outstanding. I’m not even mentioning an unacceptable treatment by the movers/staff during the process. Absolutely not recommended!

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
Your move date is set! Contact for details and any necessary instructions
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
We always show up! On time arrival within the first 20 minutes of the one hour window, with an experienced, professional and courteous crew.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Please have items packed and ready to go (large boxes not too heavy please), furniture blankets to protect your stuff, appropriate size truck for the move. Then wooosah! we got you, you're things are in capable hands.
What types of moves have you handled?
Local, Long distance, Office, Commercial, Specialty moves (larger & fragile medical equipment).
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
No gym membership needed, we get paid to exercise. Our worksite is different everyday & we interact with new people.
What training do you provide your crew members?
Two weeks of moving technique (lifting, turning, angles), teamwork, pacing, basic disassembly/reassembly and materials handling as well as customer service is our basic training. Then more experienced movers ( Courtney, Eric, Yusef, Azar, Ken) have advanced training for loading moving vans.
