Relocation with PROMOVE
Your experienced movers are mostly Actors, Singers, Musicians and Artists supplementing our income. On time, efficient, careful & courteous. Never a "stairs fee" or any hidden fees. We strive to provide 5 star service on every move. We are careful who we send into your home, around your family and to handle your property, we offer background checked helpers, checked through Hireahelper. INSURANCE through Hireahelper covers goods while being handled by our helpers up to $.60 per pound (policy must be activated by completing an inventory form). Full coverage insurance also available through Hireahelper. We'll never leave you stranded! If late we'll send extra helpers to make up time at no cost when possible. HIGHLY recommend. Our movers arrived 5 minutes early and were wonderful throughout the entire grueling night. They were very flexible as we had to change our move a few times, even bumping the start time up day of without issue. They were friendly, personable and determined to move some of our more awkward heavy pieces. Very respectful of all our belongings. This was my first time working with movers and I couldn't have been happier with my experience. Book them!

Pros: They showed up on time, helped us find parking, worked for the allotted time (2 hours). Cons: Were very relaxed and told us we had plenty of time and no need to rush (despite the fact our U-haul was illegally parked). Spent nearly 30 minutes trying to get a couch through the doorway (which never got through, the legs needed to be screwed off which we took care of later) and scratched up the paint/door in the process. Waited til the end for much of the big stuff (dresser, TVs, mattress, coffee table) which never ended up getting brought up and was left for my girlfriend and I. Overall: Seemed like nice enough guys that meant well but I would not use Promove again. Admittedly the large items not being finished was not entirely Promove's fault, the city elevator inspector showed up earlier than his scheduled time in middle of our move. However, had the movers shared our sense of urgency and also taken care of the large items first (as requested) then the problem would've been mostly avoided.

He guys were the best. On time and patient with me as I worked details of an extended storage space rental process. But the time we missed was easily made up with their efficient work. Kirk, as team leader was especially thorough and handked my things with ease. He even showed concerns about a few nicks that some of the funiture sustained in the previous packing of the truck. They listened to my wishes regarding how I wanted the system unit to be packed and did everything they could to make my plans a reality. But, above all, they we're super friendly and easy going. My kind of movers. Thank you.

Everything was fine, pretty much what I expected. Something was broken in the process, but they made up for it by not charging us for an extra hour. Overall I am happy and would use the service again.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
Your move date is set! Contact for details and any necessary instructions
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
We always show up! On time arrival within the first 20 minutes of the one hour window, with an experienced, professional and courteous crew.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Please have items packed and ready to go (large boxes not too heavy please), furniture blankets to protect your stuff, appropriate size truck for the move. Then wooosah! we got you, you're things are in capable hands.
What types of moves have you handled?
Local, Long distance, Office, Commercial, Specialty moves (larger & fragile medical equipment).
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
No gym membership needed, we get paid to exercise. Our worksite is different everyday & we interact with new people.
What training do you provide your crew members?
Two weeks of moving technique (lifting, turning, angles), teamwork, pacing, basic disassembly/reassembly and materials handling as well as customer service is our basic training. Then more experienced movers ( Courtney, Eric, Yusef, Azar, Ken) have advanced training for loading moving vans.
