They were on time but I did not find them experienced packers. It seemed as though they didn't plan how the furniture / pictures were going to be packed and/or the fragile pieces. They took an antique church pew and stacked boxes to the top of the container; stacked 5 plastic totes on top of a comforter bedset in its original soft plastic bag from the store; antique school desk (iron) went on top of plastic tote boxes. Clear plastic tote w/ Christmas ornaments was packed side ways. When they were ready to pull out the drive I realized the had left tools & flagged them back. The gentleman went upstairs to get his bag w/ rest of tools to discover they left the 5 shelve bookcase laying on the floor. Whoops picked it up and laid it on top of everything else not wrapped in blanket. I have used several different movers as I moved between states & I am nervous of what I will discover when I unload at my new residence.

We were supposed to get a 26' truck from Penske, and they could only give us a 22' truck. Luckily for us, we hired the best packing company in the New York/ New Jersey area. They were able to efficiently pack every square inch of that truck, without damaging anything. The truck was filled to the brim, and all our belongings survived a 1000 mile trip to Florida. My family and friends were extremely impressed. No one thought they would fit everything in the truck, but yet they did. I would recommend these guys to anyone.

The movers were courteous and very helpful. They jumped right in and got to work. They just kept at it, and finished in much less time that I had expected.
Very good crew. I would definitely consider Affordable Moving again for future needs.

The workers arrived early since the company did not give them the proper time. They were flexible and willing to start later. They arrived with all necessary materials and worked quickly and carefully. Items were moved from the apartment to a U-haul truck and then from a U-haul truck to a U-pack trailer. We truly appreciated their help and positive attitudes during the process.

WORST MOVERS EVER! they where lazy and smoking on the job they where very slow and came without hand trucks when bringing the appliances in they scratched the floor and chipped the paint and dented the wall they didn't want to unhook the dryer claiming it can blow up the house they could not resemble the beds or fridge and broke a bed in the process
the job was supposed to be done at 3pm took till 10pm at the end they stashed everything leftover they in the garage
