I used Moving With Pride to help load a truck, and I'd use their service again.
Pros:
- Arrived on Time and worked hard and completed the job quickly
- Navigated tight staircases well with large pieces
- Tightly and efficiently packed truck. Not much shifted during the move, and there was plenty of space remaining in the truck after it was packed.
Cons:
- They did not use the moving blankets provided to bolster things that were packed.
- One item appeared to be dropped and broken, discovered when unloading. That happens, but would have been nice to have been communicated during the loading help period instead of discovering after arrival.
I'd use Moving with pride again, taking extra time when packing to wrap furniture.

The movers said there was a medical emergency, but instead of canceling in the morning when this happend (when there was still time to find a replacement), they waited until the last second to say they couldn't make it. Very disappointing. I understand emergencies happen, but they should've been more transparent about it. Next time, I'll hire a bigger, more established firm.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Customers should have items that are able to be boxed, in boxes and labeled accordingly. If loading is required they should have blankets and some sort of tie-downs.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have handled all moves. Local, long distance, office, industrial, govt. contracts, you name it we've done it.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
The favorite part is completing difficult task in a minimum amount of time thru methods of expertise and experience that creates a WOW factor for our customers
What training do you provide your crew members?
We provide safety training thru videos and quizzes plus on the job basics and essentials including but not limited to customer interactions, (plt) proper lifting techniques, how to set a desk properly, getting a sofa thru a door and much more.
