Although they were not on time, they were not super late either. They did a great job. They were very careful with my belongings. I have had over 30 years of professional packed long distance military moves and dealing with Family Movers was superior, equally as good. I was only moving a 400 SQ FT room and could not get a large carrier to take the job. So I gave PACK-RAT a try. I also contracted hire-a helper and chose FAMILY MOVERS on packing up end. Could not be happier with FAMILY MOVERS. Both PACK-RAT and FAMILY MOVERS in communication with me and I knew the exact time all to arrive. Both companies are very professional, and very careful of your goods. And you sure can get a lot in the pod if you know how to pack this is why I hired family Movers. I had no idea what size pod I needed PR sales assisted and he was correct. When the Pod first arrived I thought I would never get my goods packed. FAMILY MOVERS assured me I would get it all packed and would be safe during the long distance move. Plus I was able to add a few last minuet items too. I hired Family Movers to assist with some loading into U-Haul pods. As I did not realize the entire scope of our move (having never moved on this scale before) and as I was behind schedule on packing, I then made the decision to hire them again for this coming Saturday to help finish packing and complete our move.
The fact that I hired them again without hesitation speaks for itself. The two gentlemen who came out on Wednesday were professional and hard-working. They also answered any questions I had and helped reassure me, as I've been quite nervous with such a big move. While they were professional the whole time, they also made the experience personal--as I said helping reassure me, letting me know all they were doing and doing their best to do what I asked how I asked, and also taking care with my possessions.
