After packing my own boxes, 5-Star Moving was hired to move everything out of my Saint Paul house and load a rented ABF trailer. Jorden, Luke, Mat and Jay showed up on time and handled the job very professionally. Working quickly and efficiently the performed this move as a team. It was not an easy job but they got it all done within the estimated time. The truck packing was done with a puzzle solving eye which saved me space on the trailer. I would recommend them for future moves and would use them again. Chuck.

First and foremost they showed up on time! The 2 young men we had were amazing they got there and went straight to work making sure everything got pack in the truck and even went as far as giving me direction for padding my giant mirror so it wouldn't get broken. They were strong, knowledgeable, respectful and extremely patient. Not my finest hour. Would deffently recommend

Jay and Jordan were fantastic they were very personable and polite. They arrived on time and ready to work. I felt bad because they loaded our truck during the record breaking heat but despite the heat, they kept the pace going. I was impressed by the way they handled our possessions and how tight they packed the truck. My husband said, he wouldn't be able to slide a credit card between each item. I would highly recommend they two guys and I'd use them again. They are great.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
When a customer books with 5-Star Movers, they can expect a prompt phone call to go over the details of the move, and discuss what the best options are for the customer to make the move go as smoothly as possible.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
The customer should expect a crew that moves their items quickly and efficiently, while also being lighthearted and able to joke around with them and have fun on the moving day.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
The customer should prepare for moving day by making sure they have plenty of ratchet straps and blankets so our team can come in and make sure all of their items are packed as securely and safely as possible. If it is a larger apartment complex, we advise that they reserve a freight elevator for use during their move.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have done all types of moves from long distance full-service jobs to California, office moves, full PODs packs, and even just moving a couch around in a house. We can do it all!
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
My favorite part of being a mover is the variation in environment from day to day. Sometimes I could be working at a 8000 square foot mansion with a 6 man crew, other days I could be working at a studio apartment with one other person. Every day is truly different, and that's what makes it exciting!
What training do you provide your crew members?
Our crew members all know how to use basic tools for assembly and disassembly, they know how to use moving equipment such as dollies and shoulder straps to make the move smoother. Our experienced guys are very good at loading trucks, and show the new people how to do it so they can one day be a great loader as well. We also prioritize attention to detail and will miss out on jobs sometimes rather than ever sending a crew we don't believe is 5-Star quality.

We accept next day requests at our normal rates.
Refunding Unused Time
We do not refund for any unused time.
Extra Hours
We can always stay at least 1 hour over the prebooked time.
