I booked Texas Moving Center the night before I needed assistance unloading our Uhaul truck. I found them through HireAHelper at a competitive price ($180 for 2 hours). Armando called on the morning of our move & let me know when the movers would arrive.
Carlos & Alex were awesome! They worked so fast & efficiently, and they were really friendly as well. I appreciated that they verified what room everything belonged in. I’d definitely hire Carlos & Alex again.

Sorry in advance for the poor review, but truly a terrible experience. We were very much depending on Texas Moving Center to arrive within their window, called several times during the window and after the window of time passed, and no answer. We received a call well after the arrival window saying they would arrive 30-40 minutes later, at which point we would be done with the move already so I told them not to bother. Then about an hour later received two separate phone calls that they were almost there? Clearly communication issues going on here.
Because of their no show, we had to have to older gentlemen help out, who were not really up to the task, and caused them a real physical toll. Very disappointed.

Definitely NOT a professional moving company. If all you want are 2 guys to move things, then you might be alright, but if you’re looking for professionalism and care to be taken with your items this is NOT the company to book with.
I’ve moved serval times and have never had an issue with the help of of Hire a Helper; they should be ashamed to advertise this company. First, they arrived 2 hours late- not so fun when you’re waiting in the hot TX sun! I sat and watched my furniture get banged into the truck walls and ceiling, boxes labeled FRAGILE being placed at the bottom of stacks, and other issues. There was ZERO professionalism shown and clearly they have NO professional training.
