They were 3 hours late. I booked them because other reviews said they were always on time or early. Well I hired them to pack my truck so that I could move to another state. This delayed my travels severely. I called them once it was after the window I booked. I was told they would be an hour late. I was totally understanding. Things happen. An hour later, no show. I called again, no answer. Another person called me and said it would be another hour or so. After an hour, they called back to say they got delayed again. At this point, what could I do other than wait? I was told I would be compensated for this delay. When it was time to pay, no one acknowledged the discount I was told would be given. When I tried calling the company, I was given the run around about who to contact regarding the discount. I called hireahelper directly and they reached out to them. The manager told the agent, if I wasn’t happy with them being so late, I should’ve said that and rescheduled for another day! This left me speechless. I was traveling to another state, 14 hours away. Rescheduling for another day was not a part of my plans. I wish I had gone with another company. This was an absolute nightmare for me. Although, the agent I spoke to through hireahelper was VERY helpful. She understood my concerns and frustrations and did everything she could to make it right. Texas Moving Center got their money and could not care less about the way I was treated. The good news is the movers packed my truck very quickly and they were friendly. I wish they would’ve handled the delay with better customer service. I would not ever use Texas Moving Center again or recommend to a friend. Hireahelper was amazing though. I would go with another company through them.

I can't say enough good things about my movers. They arrived an hour ahead of time, which I though would be an issue as we were moving items to 2 different locations, but it very much wasn't!
They had an overstuffed storage unit fully packed and organized in an hour. Not only were they efficient in getting in on the truck, but they packed and Tetris-ed it all in perfectly!
Even including traffic and having to unload in 2 different destinations 20 miles from one another, they were done in exactly 3 hours. They were polite, efficient, and didn't dawdle in the least. At one point, when I gave them Gatorade because of the heat, they didn't stop to take a break but were unloading while sipping!
My brother looked at me in awe after the move was done and said "This is the best money I've ever spent!". Highly recommended and I'll definitely be using these guys again.

They were actually early. Started off extremely well. After the 2nd hour, they seemed to start rushing things and got a little sloppy. We still had quite a bit of stuff to fit into the moving truck, and the space toward the back was not utilized very well. I ended up having to rearrange things and finish packing after they had left and still had 45 minutes left from the 3 hours I had requested when they did leave.

The movers arrived on time and did a great job of loading the truck. Everything was finished within an hour. Our truck was pretty small, but they were able to fit all furniture and boxes with no problem. I would recommend them and use them again in the future. Hire A Helped made my move very smooth.
