Team that showed up to do the moving did well, working promptly and efficiently. Corporate was impolite and unprofessional.
I was a bit surprised by how "snippy" were the telephone communications from the home office. The team called me on the morning of the move, and asked if I could move the appointment time up one hour. When I said no, they accepted that, understanding that I had a long drive to get to the pick-up point, and would be pressing to make the original appointment.
A couple of accidents on the road caused me to be a bit late - and their office called a couple of times to check, and their tone wasn't the most professional.
I arrived a bit late, but well within the scheduled time, and the team completed their work and were on their way within the appointment window.
If Henry Moving wasn't able to meet the original appointment time, why did they accept the commission? Why did they try to change the time on the morning of the move rather than contacting me before? And, since I was paying for the service, whether I was there on time, late, or not at all, their concern about my being late (especially when I explained that on the first call the morning of the move) seemed inappropriate.
The team that did the work did well. Corporate did poorly. If there is another such move, I will likely select another service provider.

They overall did their job well but I was unloading to help speed up the process and I feel they didn't utilize the extra equipment I had rented for them to assist them with their job.

They were on time. Very nice friendly guys. Tried hard to put things up where they belong. Gladly moved things to other locations if didn't end up in the right place the first time. Careful with my belongings, efficient and able to complete work in the time I had scheduled for them. With use them again in the future!

They showed up 2 hours late. They didn't do a great job packing our pods. Did not work efficiently - left big items in the house for the end of packing so we ended up having to leave things behind. They were respectful, but would not use them again.

Will and JB were excellent movers. They moved my things incredibly quickly and never complained about the flight of steps or the heavy items. I was very pleased with their work and would rate their work 5 stars.
However, I wasn't as happy with Henry Moving Co, which is why this review is only awarding 4 stars. When I booked with Hire a Helper, Henry Moving Co never called me to schedule a time or even to confirm my order (unlike the Hire a Helper company I had worked with at the location where I had loaded my furniture). I had to call them, and when I did, the person I spoke to -- I think it was Henry actually -- was not even especially nice. They had a specific hour for my move scheduled and he seemed irritated I was calling to find out what that time was. Then, on the day of the move, the movers arrived over an hour late (which I credit to poor scheduling on Henry Moving Co's part, not on the movers themselves) and when I called the company to find out the status, I was connected with voicemail only. Henry Moving Co did not make moving any less stressful. I am only grateful that the movers they employ are far more professional than the management appears to be.

I was very pleased with the service provided by Henry Moving Company. I was not as please with the assistance provided by Hire a Helper because I didn't know how many movers and hours to request and I went with what the guy on the phone suggested, which was definitely not enough. I had intended to have the movers pack us up, and load everything into our POD (which also required unloading and rearranging some stuff that was in it already). Unfortunately, the process of rearranging the POD was so time consuming in and of itself that they were unable to help with the packing so I was desperately trying to get everything packed while they worked on the POD so they could carry it out for me. In the end, they made as much fit into that POD as could possibly fit, and I was very pleased with their effort to accommodate us as much as possible. They ensured that the majority of our stuff will be shipped for us, limited what we'll need to take in a U-Haul trailer. Even though I didn't get help with everything I needed, I can't blame that on the movers at all. They were great.

The men arrived as promised and followed instructions to the letter; they were courteous, hard-working and all in all it was a most pleasant experience. I would use them again and would recommend them without hesitation.

The service I received once the 2 workmen arrived was very good. The issue I had was that no one contacted me prior to the job to review the job order and I had to leave several messages with the service in order to get a status . The men arrived 3 hours late that caused me to have to change my plans. I missed a funeral service that I had planned to attend that day. Nevertheless, the gentlemen were very nice and polite. They were able to move my furniture and garage items without any incident . I appreciate their help. Thanks!
