Sterner's Moving sent me 2 men to move furniture from a POD into my home. They arrived ontime and were professional and curteous throughout despite the 90+ heat. They showed a great deal of care for my property and a job I was apprehensive went smoothly without a hitch. I would not hesitate to recommend them or use them in the future.

Two young college age guys showed up, very friendly and ready to work. Called to let me know they were on the way and how long until they would arrive. Did a wonderful job moving everything, and were very helpful- would be nice if they had a little more initiative, but I believe that was due to their age. Will be hiring them again and recommend them to anyone!

We were contacted immediately upon assignment of job by the owner of the company to better understand what we need and when to be at our location.
The 3 young men that came to the job site were on time, prepared for the job, professional, respectful, and FAST.
Knowing that moving very large and very heavy furniture can damage walls and doorways, these men were extremely careful not to scrape or put holes in any walls, doors, and furniture.
OUTSTANDING, I want them again for moving into our new house.

With not using a moving company for quite some time, I was concerned with what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised with Sterner's Moving. My move was scheduled for 9:00 a.m. and they called around 7:00 a.m. and asked if they could start early. They arrived around 8:00 and surveyed the project. They were 2 very pleasant guys and started right to work. I was having my belongings stored in storage pods and they were VERY conscious of using every square inch. They moved at a deliberate pace and were very careful with my belongings. I own a piano and was concerned that it be moved carefully and stored properly. I was happy with the way they treated it as well as how they protected it for storage. They completed what I thought was a pretty big job in a very respectable time.
I am extremely pleased with the job they did and would not hesitate to use them again.

Sterners originally told me that they would arrive at my home between 8 - 9 am. they didn't show up until 9:48am!!! They were not really prepared. They didn't have anything to wrap my China cabinet in. (I used movers before and they wrapped my Glass China cabinet in protective wrap and a blanket). Sterners did not!
They also deliberately took their sweet time to move items (i.e. hiding/talking and leaning on my furniture inside the truck). I only had three rooms of furntiure and not even completely furnished in those rooms! It took them 2 hours alone to load the truck and WE had everything taken apart and ready to be moved for them!
We even helped them to unload the furniture which only took twenty minutes to unload. The last part of the trip was to drop off the dining room set to storage (my friends house) and they tell us the truck doesn't drive very fast and apparently can't even go the speed limit on the expressway. A trip that normally takes only 50 minutes took 1hour and 20 minutes. In addition, it took them another 45 minutes to unload the dining room set. When we noticed that they were not done, we went out to see how much longer, they were leaning inside the trcuk chatting it up. It should have only taken them 10 to 20 minutes MAX to unload the dining room table chairs and china cabinet. They didn't have to reassemble only drop off!
I've used movers before and had them dissemble, load, unload and reassemble my ENTIRE house FULL of furniture in less time as it took them to move three rooms of furniture!!!

They were on time and did an excellent job in the amount of time scheduled for the move. They were respectful of our property and handled all of the move as professionals. I would highly recommend Sterner's Moving again for any moves I would have in the future.

Sterner's moving is excellent. The workers arrived on time. They were polite well-dressed, prepared for the work to be done. They took care with heavy items and took care to avoid damaging items or doorways. I recommend them highly.
