I scheduled a last minute move of a few things in my house and found this service very helpful and accommodating. Everything worked smoothly and as scheduled. I would definitely use it again.

We were very dissatisfied with our experience and movers. They did arrive on time; however, their appearance and clothing choice was very unprofessional. Likewise, the movers smelled of marijuana upon arrival (at 9AM). Upon their initial walk-through of our home they immediately began complaining to us and one another about some of the items that we needed moved (primarily the washer and dryer) and that they should have had more movers. I informed them I did discuss the items needed to be moved over the phone with the representative that helped me book the appointment. In addition, I had it written in my quote. I also discussed in detail with the representative the amount of work we had and booked our appointment off of their recommendation regarding the number of workers and hours needed.
Although I was told they would dissemble items, I was not impressed by their doing this as I spent most of the time dissembling the items for them. In the end, they only dissembled 1 item which required an Allen wrench and they had to ask me for one as they did not have it. I was told they would have tools such as this. There were 2 bedframes that they did not dissemble (1 of which was a crib that they did not even try to dissemble, again only requiring a small Allen wrench).
They also made repeated boastful comments about their work and “the things they do for customers,” implying they were going above and beyond their duties which unfortunately they were not.
Lastly, we had countless blankets to cushion our furniture with; however, they did not use them on our washer and dryer (which were in excellent condition as they were delivered brand new in boxes and this is the first and only time having moved them) and now there are huge scratches on both appliances that cannot be fixed.
In the end they stopped about 10 minutes or so early because they weren’t sure what else to do even though they could have easily dissembled the crib and loaded that in that timeframe.

The company that was supposed to come and help me move into my apartment called Friday at 3 PM told me they could not make it .I called hireahelper at 4 PM on Friday and they said they could come out on Sunday, May 1 and I was extremely happy. The two men showed up on Sunday morning at 8:50 A.m. they were early they were polite they were friendly and we’re very efficient I would highly recommend them

The three gentleman that handled my last minute move were amazing. They came to the property , assessed the situation and went to work. Fortunately, everything was already boxed up before the movers arrived. All they had to do was move everything from the third floor flat (no elevator ) onto the moving truck. Clearly, they were the professionals because after watching them pack the truck , I realized that if I had to have done this move on my own, I would have packed that moving truck totally wrong. I learned something on that day.
Don't just get ANYBODY to handle your move, get THE MOVE TEAM LLC, to do it. They defiantly know what they're doing.

Once we have received your booking request, one of our specialists will reach out to introduce our company and go over all move details with you.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
On move day the customer can expect a message in the morning as a reminder and an introduction of the assigned movers names. The team also will send a message when they are 30 minutes away.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Please be sure to thoroughly inventory and pack all of your belongings, we suggest labeling boxes and items, so that the movers can arrive and safe and throughly load/unload your items. Saving you time, and any stress of instructing the movers where to place your belongings.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have handled moves from studio apartments all the way to 8 bedroom homes. Local all over Illinois Wisconsin as well as long distance going to Florida, Colorado, Texas, New York and many other city’s in the US. We handle commercial moves as well as general freight loading and transportation.

What training do you provide your crew members?
All new crew members are put through an online computer course we provide and then working with some of our more experienced crew members for the first 90 days before they are open to work all jobs.

We accept next day requests at our normal rates.

We do not refund for any unused time.
