Drake and Dewayne were really great!! They worked diligently throughout the allotted time and even pushed for me to find other ways they could help when the job was done early. Dewayne is super detailed about packing everything for a secure move so nothing gets damaged. Drake makes everything seem easy...even when it's not. The only negative comment I have to make is that the company profile says they always carry certain items like rope but they didn't have any. I also requested in the comments for the job that they bring plastic wrap for the furniture and they didn't. We came up with solutions but I think the company should provide their employees and customers with some basic supplies for the cost of the service. Still, I am really glad I paid for the help and would recommend these guys to anyone.

The guys were very helpful and quick. They packed most of a 2200 square foot house in 4 hours! They were exactly on time and worked hard the whole time. Considering that I booked them only a few hours before, I was pleasantly surprised!

We had to change our moving date 2 times because of issues on our end. We had paid for and requested 4 guys coming to unload our truck which ended up being very late in the day. I would have understood if it needed to wait. Three young men showed up, very tired from a long hot days work. One being the first day in the job and he wasn't able to function at capacity. The other two worked so hard but it was too much for them. They got it unloaded but it was very late, like 9:30pm and we had a mess as there wasn't time to properly distribute house/garage contents. My payment was collected even though we were one man short, wasn't alerted that we wouldn't get as agreed and didn't receive and back end follow up to explain the situation. The 2 young men were very nice, worked way too hard for their pay im sure.

Kind and respectful helpers. Helpers seemed to have limited experience moving large items and best packing a large truck. There was some damage to items and home. I would consider using again, if Hire A Helper could guarantee support for their helpers - more training to better support their employees. Also, Hire A Helper did not provide transportation for their Helpers. We had to drive our Helpers home as they did not have transportation. The problem was Hire A Helper not supporting their employees. He actual helpers worked hard, the service was not supportive of them.

On Time - Told between 9-10 and arrived at 9:30. Prepared - Had all tools needed and I even had to borrow a few to assist. Very hard workers - Very pleased with the speed they worked at. Property Respect - The only reason it isn't a 5 star was that they did scratch two items but if I could give them a 4.5 stars I would. Again? Yes.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
On moving day the customer can expect a courtesy call one hour prior to start time. Our professional movers will be friendly and hardworking.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Customer can prepare day prior checking that everything is boxed and ready for movers to come and load. Make sure dogs and cats are out of the way so the movers do not trip over.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have completed office jobs, long distance moves as well as local. We have also load and unload trailers, storage units and storage containers.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
I love making the customer happy by providing great customer service and handling furniture with care as if it was my own. I enjoy making the customer feel as if they made the right choice with hiring First Choice.
What training do you provide your crew members?
I provide my crew with training videos and professional tips. We are always looking for ways to approve.
