I was hesitant about hiring movers online, but honestly had no choice. My dad passed away and we had all of his furniture in storage in Florida and we needed it loaded into a rental truck to move to Chicago. I hired the movers online, and immediately the company made contact with me via email giving me a job number and a phone number to call if we had any questions. I called their office and they said they were out on jobs and the quickest way would be an email, so I sent off an email to confirm. Within minutes I had a personal reply. When the day to move arrived, they were in contact making sure everything was still on schedule on my end which was reassuring. The movers showed up on-time and didn't waste a minute, they quickly looked at what we had to move and began working. My furniture was treated as if it was their own and they were extremely pleasant and friendly. They worked non-stop to load a 3 bdrm house into a 16' truck in 2 hours flat! My payment via credit card wasn't released to the company/movers until I confirmed via text that the job was complete to my satisfaction. Literally that was it. I reserved the movers online, was in contact with them up until the move, and released payment once services were complete. Didn't even break a sweat. :-) If you're unsure, don't be. These guys are great and I would use them again without hesitation.

Rent plenty of moving blankets. When you think you have enough, get another dozen. Moving blankets are in expensive to rent from Uhaul. Only $10 a dozen to protect your items.
