I have used hire a helper multiple times and this is the first time it’s never gone perfect! The level of professionalism of one of the movers was terrible and certainly is something that added to the low review! The move shouldn’t have taken more than 3 hours and took 5.5 and also due to the lack of care that was taken caused damage to my custom made kitchen table, as well as, damage to the recently painted walls and trim! I would reconsider legacy team moves or just be highly selective in who they send!

BEWARE! Disorganized and untrained. Spent as much time arguing with themselves as moving. Damaged multiple pieces of furniture while packing. Awful experience.

1. Arrived on time!!! Both men came ready to work and had all of my belongings in the Pod container in record time..."Mr. Tetris" (Charlie) was able to fit in items that I thought I would have to leave behind. I would use them again in future moves.

Our movers were late, but part of it was a GPS problem and from what I understand, part of it was due to a SNAFU by the Hire-A-Helper staff not having helpers as they said they would causing our guy to scramble and find his own crew on a Sunday morning. That being said, they did a GREAT job. They were very respectful of our belongings. Not once did they bump, drag or drop anything inappropriately. Very nice, polite guys. The only thing they need to change is that the head man, Charlie, mentioned tipping A LOT and that they get paid very little from the Hire-a-helper company. It made me very uncomfortable. But as I said in the title i would recommend them and would use them again.

We charge an extra 20% for same day requests.
Next Day Moves
We accept next day requests at our normal rates.
Refunding Unused Time
We do not refund for any unused time.
Extra Hours
We can always stay at least 2 hours over the prebooked time.
