Since 2017, we've been Odessa's dependable moving company, helping the families and businesses in our community move across town or across Texas. Waited almost 2 hours for them to show. Estimated arrival time was between 12-1pm. Received a call at 12:45pm that the previous job they were on had just be completed, they would grab a quick bite to eat for lunch and would be right over. They showed up one hour later at 1:45pm. Seemed to be in a hurry and were only interested in getting stuff moved quickly. We advised that the furniture they were moving was solid oak and heavy. At one point they turned my oak desk on it's side to put on the dolly they were using. They also didn't seem to care about the legs on any of the furniture or possible damage that could happen to solid wood. After about 45 minutes of this debacle, I told them I no longer needed them and would finish loading the truck myself. I paid over $300 for 45 minutes of crappy work.
You made the decision to load the truck how you wanted in the manner you wanted without taking any of our suggestions. The way you chose to load the truck only took 45 minutes because you only had us bring large furniture, failing to utilize the top half of the truck. We sat and watched as you paced back and forth getting boxes and being unresponsive when we asked how we could help. You misinterpreted this as being impatient, but I feel if we had not asked you, then you would have said we were just standing around on your time.
I could not force you to use my moving expertise. I could only do what you as the customer asked of me, which I did. I honestly believe if you would have allowed us to load your truck in the way we have 1000s of times for other satisfied customers, your opinion of us would have been different.

Pack your dishes, clothing and knick knacks. Pack boxes level (do not overfill or underfill as much as possible), label according to room, put refrigerator items in ice chests or boxes

What training do you provide your crew members?
Crew members are trained in the use of equipment, safely loading the truck, assembly/disassembly techniques. New team members never work alone. They are paired with experienced team members, and they start on small jobs until they learn the do's and don'ts
