What can a customer expect after booking with you?

Listening to all your needs and request. Figuring out what all needs to be moved and or packed. Collect all the information needed to get the job done.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?

100% CUSTOMER SATISFACTION!

How should a customer prepare for moving day?

We recommend that you use blue painters tape to mark furniture that needs to be moved. If appliances are being moved, we ask that our customers have them disconnected from the outlets as the movers are not allowed, due to liability risk. We also ask that you pre-pack as much as possible before moving day, to provide a faster and more efficient move.

What types of moves have you handled?

We have handled all types of moves such as big office moves, out of state moves, moves for NBA superstars such as Paul George, Patrick Patterson, Shai Gilious-Alexander and Danielio Gallinari. Along with a few other top progressional athletes and celebrities.

What's your favorite part about being a mover?

We love being movers because we get to meet new people and be apart of an environment inspired by a blessing from a family to be invited into their world for a day. Feeling as though we are apart of the family, and have been for a life time. It truly is a blessing to be in this industry and be apart of so many new beginnings that happen out there everyday.

What training do you provide your crew members?

We teach all of our crew members how to properly wrap all items. Along with how to move furniture the right way without damage, moving with a hand truck (dolly) or use of a 2nd crew member. We also teach all crew members how to properly load and stack all types of trucks, with items properly packed or wrapped before loading onto moving truck.

Local Mover Policies

Same Day Moves

We charge an extra 10% for same day requests.

Next Day Moves

We accept next day requests at our normal rates.

Refunding Unused Time

We do not refund for any unused time.

Extra Hours

We can always stay at least 1 hour over the prebooked time.

Moving Equipment

Face coverings and gloves:
We ask every one of our employees to help with our prevention efforts while at work. In order to minimize the spread of COVID-19 at our jobsites, everyone must play a part. As set forth below, J & L management has instituted various housekeeping, social distancing, and other best practices at our jobsites—all employees are required to follow., (always included, no fee)
Furniture dolly or straps:
We only charge and use the furniture dolly for small to medium size safes., ($40.00/ea.)
Hand tools for assembly:
We provide our own tools at no extra cost. We disassemble and reassemble any type of furniture. We also offer pre disassemble services before the move, and move things around inside the home or office., ($10.00/ea.)
Hand truck:
We love all of our customers and want to be able to offer over the top customer service. We charge for Maintenance on all of our equipment due to various sizes and weight limits on furniture., ($15.00/ea.)
Plastic wrap:
Shrink wrap for furniture with dresser drawers and furniture doors., ($30.00/ea.)
Rope:
We offer straps for local moves., ($5.00/ea.)
