Excellent! I was so nervous about getting everything in the truck for a move across country but they made it work. Drove 800 miles and absolutely nothing broke. Highly recommend. Oh, and they did this in 103 degree heat!

Sam's crew did a great job! We hire 2 guys for three hours. They utilized their time and space within the portable storage unit efficiently. Further, they were careful when lifting, and maneuvering around the house with our stuff. Also, Sam was helpful in pre-coordinating the move details. We were very pleased, and will look to use them again. Thanks guys!

We needed help loading our 16' POD and taking the remaining items to storage. The 3-person crew arrive on-time, worked diligently, and acted professionally at all times - getting everything loaded in the time allotted (with 15 minutes to spare). However, I think they could use a little training in how to properly pack furniture. Although I had provided a stack of blankets and rope, NOTHING was secured inside the POD (they seemed to think if it was packed tightly, that would be good enough). This created some issues, as items shifted a bit during transport, making it difficult to open the door. Also, rather than draping our wood furniture with the blankets we had provided, they "wedged" the blankets between *some of the items. Other items, they laid side-by-side (e.g., head and foot boards), with no buffer between them. Even though nothing of value was broken in the move, several of our items were damaged (scratched, knicked). They also seemed to have a preference for turning things up on end (e.g., rather than keeping our desk in an upright position, or turning it upside down on top of another flat item) it was turned on its side and wedged in between things, putting unnecessary pressure on its four legs. Finally, heavy items were not necessarily put on the bottom, and we had a few crushed boxes in the end.

I utilized the services of Samuel Turk for my move. They sent out Shiloh and Zeke who arrived on time and ready to work. Two young guys that never stopped and were professional, courteous, accommodating and 2 of the hardest working young men that I have ever had the pleasure to be around. They were not the cheapest and it is wildly obvious why. Be careful who you hire, Shiloh and Zeke set the standard. Would, and will, use them again. Chad M.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
Smiley Face Moving will be in contact with you to confirm the move upon booking. We will send out an email to confirm all information we have is correct. The day prior to your move we will contact you by phone or text to confirm all is on schedule. Your Smiley Face Moving crew will reach out to you, one last time the morning of your move, before arrival.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
You will receive a text from your moving crew, before they arrive. Your moving crew will arrive with dollies, and tools for furniture assembly/disassembly. You will need to sign the invoice and terms of service upon their arrival. The crew will work hard to complete the job in a timely manner, we are not slackers, we do not run up the clock. We get in and get the job done as safe, and quick as possible.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
If stairs are not part of the move, you can leave items in dresser drawers and wrap the drawers shut with plastic wrap. You can also tie trash bags up around hanging clothes to save expense on wardrobe boxes. The more you have your items prepared, the faster our guys can load.
