Arrived 4 hrs late without notice; an excuse; or an apology. Hired two med to
Work for two hrs and they planned to leave after one hr starting they had another job to get to. After arguing about it they refused to do the work necessary. Refused to assemble bed or dining room table. Refused to remove a bed in order to make room for the one on the truck. Had no tools to do basic work. (Screwdriver and screws). One worker spent most of the time outside on phone and smoking while the other one worked with me. Job was not completed. Jon, the owner of Stars and Stripes was unwilling to help the situation after sever calls to him with complaints while the helpers were still here and he left my third call go to answering machine. I would not recommend this company and would never use them again. The only decent conversation I had with the owner was when I hired them. Then he was very nice and promised the best service and assured me the pros would handle all my needs and be on time and work hard. The ordeal was a total nightmare. And yes. I’ve used Hire a helper before and had terrific experiences, left great reviews, and tipped the helpers generously. My experience with Stars and Stripes was horrible. The worst.
Im sad that you are so motivated to say unkind, and untruthful things about me, the crew and your experience. Since we accepted your job order less than 24hrs in advance ( and did NOT charge your the normal 20% additional charge), I called you to let you know the adjusted arrival time for the crew. The crew DID arrive in the window that I provided you on the phone. My crew advised you were indignat and rude to them the whole time they were there. I called you to attempt to pasifiy you and the situation and you immediately yelled and disrepected me and then hung up on me abruptly. Our crew takes PRIDE in our ability to be polite, hard working and professional at all time. You made that very difficult for everyone involved. Im sorry that you weren't completely satisfied with our services, like 100s of previous customers have been. I hope whatever you're going through works out in your favor so you can have a better disposition in the future. We wish you the very best

Helpers were to be at my place between 8 and 9 AM. At 9:30 I called Hire a Helper to find out why they weren't there. They didn't know and were going to look into it. I then called Jon at Stars and Stripes who told me the crew was having car trouble and were trying to get it resolved. I thought it would have been nice if they had called me, but was still hopeful it would be soon they'd be there. Heard nothing more and by 11:00 I began to look for someone local who could help as I had to be out of the house by 3:00. Long story short, I hired another moving company who came by 1:00 and moved me out. No one from Stars and Stripes ever came or even called to say they weren't going to make it.
Would not use this company again. I had to call Hire a Helper to tell them the movers had not done the job.

Hi, I'm Jon Churchill, the owner, and logistics manager. I will contact you immediately after selecting our services to discuss and assist you through your entire moving endeavor. I will make sure you have everything you need to make your move is as safe, efficeitnt and worry-free as possible.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
We contact each client when our crew is in direct route. You can expect to greet our uniformed, background and drug tested crew both fully prepared and punctual. Customer service and moving experience is our specialty, so we are prepared to efficacity solve and all problems.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have loaded/unloaded 1000s of PODS and Packrats. Over the last nearly 10 years we have made 1000s of local, intrastate and Interstate relocations. We make monthly trips from south Florida to New England and back to FL, moving high end antiues, furniture, small shipments, pets (we love your pet like our own), motorcycles and and cars, and since we are already making the tripo, can always help our customer get superior service at the most competitive price

We take pride in assisting our customers to have a WORRY FREE relocation. Weither its around the corner or around the country, we have the savvy and experience to professionally service all or part of any relocation.
What training do you provide your crew members?
Since Ive personally performed 1000s of moves, I've trained both of our field managers, and nearly every other member of our crew in the processes of pleasing our customers, and care of good. Most of our employees are veterans, so they are thoroughly versed in the principles of integrity, teamwork, attention to detail and superior work effort. Ongoing training ensures all movers are up to date on the latest and best moving equipment and techniques
