John and his son were the best movers I have ever used on my many of years of moving. They were right on time, very professional, courteous, and very professional. They worked non stop and had my u-haul packed liked nothing I ever thought possible. I actually should have needed the next size up but these two made it happen! I highly recommend them for any and all of your moves. They are the best. I just wish we could have packed them up and brought them out to Phoenix to unload. We were extremely pleased with our experience with Johnny B Movers . The two young men who helped us were on time, and very pleasant. They worked liked machines for the full time they were on the job. They came prepared and knew exactly how to load everything into the POD. I would highly recommend this company...and we are using them again in the near future.

When I decided to relocate back to Florida to care for my Mother from California I thought it would be fairly easy to move things out of my storage locker into a 1-800-Pack-Rat container. However the extreme heat in the Valley, the going up and down in a key-coded elevator and doing it by myself led to several delays - it was taking hours and I needed to move everything out in two days.
At 2:00am the following morning I went onto Hire A Helper's website that was recommended by 1-800-Pack-Rat. I found Johnny "B" Movers had great reviews and they were available later that morning. I booked them, paid on the site and then went to bed. At 7:00am I spoke to John by phone and he said they were just starting up for the day but accepted the job and could get someone there by 10:00am.
There were some delays but I was in touch with both Johnny "B" Movers and HireAHelper.com and Ron and Jacob showed up at 11:30am worked non-stop for 2.5 hours until everything was loaded and packed by 3:00pm. Jacob was upstairs loading boxes onto the cart and Ron was in the container using his Tetris-like skills to fit all the boxes that the day before I became concerned wouldn't all fit.
By 2:45pm when everything was almost loaded I could see there was room for much more. They worked amazingly hard and were very professional and being able to pay through HireAHelper with a credit card was great because I had confidence that Johnny "B" Movers would do a good job.
I would never recommend waiting until 2:00am to book movers for the same day but if a company every "had your back" I would say that both HireAHelper.com and Johnny "B" Movers would fit that expression perfectly.

Johnny B Movers responded to a "short-notice work order" and had to come a long way to do the job. They called to let us know they were running a little late. Because of the nature of the short notice, they did not bring necessary supplies. They worked hard, but they did not work smart. The individual who actually packed the truck did not survey our belongings often enough to know what was left to be packed. So some items were not packed as well as they should have been. He even refused to pack an expensive lamp at the end of the job. They were not prepared to handle our refrigerator and dropped it, scratching and denting the door. Other than that, they were good. But I still wouldn't use them again.

I would like to say that i had the best movers ever. They called me prior to the move to see if i needed anything before they arrived. Once they arrived to my home they got right down to business. They moved in a very timely manner making sure to take special care with certain items. They even helped take apart my beds and dressers and when they found things under furniture they made sure to give it to me. They were very pleasant and they helped all the stress that i was feeling melt away. I am so happy and would love to use them again.
