Huffy Movers INC movers were great. They worked hard and quickly while also being careful of our home. They were friendly, courteous and respectful.
Hire A Helper is terrible however. They were the exact opposite of the moving company. They misrepresent things in their quotes and discussions. I will never use them again.

Hired a 4-person team to help with an eviction set out and clear an abandoned property. They arrived on time. The set out got done in time, but it was close. I had to stay on top of them and continually give directions. A couple of the guys even started flirting with the women who were being set out. On review of the house to be cleared, not much was done for four guys working two hours. Not that professional.

I gave 2 stars because they were flexible with the date changes we had due to our mortgage closing. We hired 4 movers and only 3 showed up. They were supposed to arrive between 8 and 9 and they came at 9:45. The only time it was brought up is when I asked where the 4th person was and then I had to call to change the pricing twice. There were a total of 3 full boxes of broken glass items. I was told they would take apart furniture and put it back together. My husband did that for them. It started raining and instead of putting the beds and crib back together that were still apart but in the correct rooms, they sat in the truck until the rain slowed. They worked more hours than they were originally assigned so we bought them lunch and they took a break and ate which was expected, but I did not expect to be charged for them to take a break. The last time we moved, we had 2 people from 2 men and a truck and they didn’t break anything and did it in 2 hours less time. There were several times they would bring one item into the house and ask where it should be placed. It was not very efficient and I felt like they took their time.

The worker were most pleasant and worked, but they we late, understaffed due to call off.
They scratched numerous pieces of furniture, wood floor in too many areas, and took chinches out of walls and molding.
I don’t like giving a bad review, we enjoyed the workers, friendly, and cooperative but the destruction was inexcusable. Very disappointed.

Zack and Cecil did an outstanding job. They were reliable, helpful and conscientious. Huffys Movers was always reachable and follow up with customer concerns. Highly recommended.

If I could choose negative stars I would. They were scheduled to come on Saturday afternoon. I was alerted they would be late with no estimate. They ended up arriving 3 hours late, unprepared saying they didn’t know they were moving furniture from my basement into a POD as I requested. They asked to return on Sunday and promised to arrive at 7:30 am before work was scheduled to begin in the basement. They didn’t arrive until 11:25. The guys were nice. I had to reschedule the other work twice because of the delays

The young men who showed up to help me move arrived early and ready to go. The were polite, professional, hard working and communicated to each other to work exceptionally well as a team. They worked hard from start to finish. The did NOT scratch or dent anything. They were cautious with all my furniture and took the time to wrap it all in moving blankets I provided. As an Army Veteran I know something about moving and movers. The guys from Huffy Moving made all the difference with my move. EVERY MOVING COMPANY SHOULD WISH ALL THEIR MOVERS WERE THIS GREAT. Unfortunately, they did run into trouble removing a couch from the finished basement. There was quite a bit of damage to my walls. They did attempt to patch the damage but once painted, the wall looked terrible. I only had 2 days to turn the house over to the buyer and we ended up settling on me writing the buyer a $100 check for the damages. This was very stressful. I have photos, but there is nowhere to post them on this review.
However, due to their timeliness and overall competence, I would probably hire them again. Thanks
