Moving to a new home in a new state 900 miles away was a very unsettling to say the least. We agonized over the method of moving our entire house of furniture, but once we decided on using PODS, we thought now how are we going to get all of the furniture into our new home. PODS recommended HireAHelper and provided their telephone number, which is a very smart thing for them to do. Once we contacted HireAHelper we were able to choose the company to be used, which was CB's Moving Company. Of course we did not know what to expect, but two days before the time we had requested them to be here, they called us to confirm, and again on the day of arrival the contacted us to let us know they were on the way. Their window of arrival was 9-10 AM, and they arrived just after 9. Immediately started working, just moving boxes and furniture as quickly as possible, only allowing us to direct them to the correct room. We tried to help, but they insisted that we let them do all of the work. We have an upstairs, and although we did not think we had a lot of items to go upstairs, it turned out to be quite a few trips up and down for them, so we were very thankful we did not have to climb the stairs at all. Once everything was out of the POD, they still had about 1/2 hour left on their contracted time, so we asked them to help us put some of our furniture (beds) together, and they were more than happy to oblige. We had no idea how to get some of the frames together, but they figured it out, then helped us get the mattresses onto the frames as well. All in all these guys were the BEST. We even gave them an additional tip for all of their help and friendliness. We would hire Chris and his fantastic team again, if we needed this kind of help, but it will be at least a year, because we ARE NOT going anywhere for a while.

Anthony and Melvin were on time and worked very hard! We moved in to a 3rd floor apartment and they had no trouble helping us get all of our furniture and other belongings moved in. They were very careful with our belongings and the property we were moving into. We would definitely use them again.

My moving team did great! They were early to the site and called to confirm that they were in the correct location. They worked hard in less than ideal circumstances (it was extremely hot and humid with bouts of torrential downpours). They were careful with all the goods they moved for us. We were moving to a 3rd floor, and I can't imagine how this move would have gone without their help! I would not hesitate to call them again for the next move.

Overall I had pretty good service from this company. They called to confirm and discuss my move after I booked, making sure that I had chose adequate help. The day of the move they were about half hour late, but called me well in advqnce letting me know that the job before mine was running over the scheduled time. I had two movers, Tony was very hard working and personable. I'm not sure what was going on with the other mover, Jerry. Was a little lazy and didn't speak more than probably three words the whole time. A little off putting when trying to direct a move... I would recommed the company and use them again.

Only regret was that I paid for two hours and let them leave after 1 1/4 becuz I felt sorry for them...but still had things to be moved
