They were on time. That’s the only positive remark they will get.
But, three storage bins marked fragile & packed with bubble wrap were damaged! They contained China and fragile gifts from Greece. Completely unacceptable!
The owner of the company first tried to blame the damage on our family members and the move itself, during a telephone conversation. Then, in his response he tried to blame it on us because we were not pleased with several aspects of the new house. In fact, he tried to blame it on anything he could, accept himself.
After going around and around for several minutes, he finally agreed to refund $150 of our $180 IF WE CHANGED HIS REVIEW TO FIVE STARS! That sounds a lot like blackmail to me! I explained to him that our review should not be based on whether or not he provided a refund. He finally agreed to do that by 07/05/13.
07/05/13 came and we did not hear a word out of CB's Moving Company. We finally received a response, after several text messages, from the owner saying he was on vacation and did not get our messages. Once again we had to go around and around about the refund with him now claiming that "we had no proof" that he did it and tried to blame it on my 17 year old son, who weighs about 125 lbs., saying he moved 80% of the items. He finally agreed, again, to refund us $100 up front and then another $50 the following week.
But, then as was par for the course, he tried to hinge it on us changing his review to 5 stars saying "he thought that was the agreement." He then backed out saying he contacted Hire a Helper who told him not to do anything "until they process our claim." We were finally refunded $150 from CB’s Moving Company. But, the owner had the nerve to ask again if we would change his review to five stars!
This is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with in any industry. If we could give them "zero" stars we would.

I would have given 4 stars but had several scratches in my hard wood floors when they were trying to get the treadmill and a dresser out of the rooms. I think they were rushing because they had booked another job at 4 pm...
They were very pleasant. We had them load our pods...which we ended up having to order an additional one. They were a little upset and let it be known...when the other pod didn't arrive on time...but it all worked out in the end...I would hire them again with the agreement that they slow down and take more care of the furniture and flooring
I would also give a tip on packing the pods...need to not do all boxes in the first pod....need to do boxes...then furniture,...fill in the gaps with boxes.

Professional hard workers. Despite the amount I had and the loading and shifting they were able to help me. They pointed out problems they had with furniture, etc they found had problems from the move immediately which I really appreciated.
There was confusion on the Piano issue with the order and the description of the piano and I ended up having to pay $100 more than I expected and was told, but that was not CBs fault but the conversation at order. They had their tools, hooked every thing up and made sure working, reminded me of some things such as dryer hose which I have to obtain. After this move I don't plan on moving anytime soon but should I. I would use again.

Helpers were very professional. They did exactly what was asked and I had no problems getting them to work. I was very impressed. They were friendly, sociable, and willing to work with me to get things done in the time I wanted in order to prevent paying for extra hours. You rarely see that level of integrity. Would definitely recommend them, and use their service again.

I hired CB's Moving very last minute, same day! They arrived early and it worked out wonderful as I was pulling up to the house the same time they were. They did a fantastic job unloading. I would recommend and reuse them.
