My team was awesome! Terrance & Ty from Professionalmen Movers called ahead to confirm arrival time, came with masks (COVID), were very personable, worked non-stop, packed that POD tetris-like tight, and did it all with smiles, positive attitude, and in a rainstorm! They even finished early and moved the rest of my things out of the basement and into garage so I could finish up my move easier. (I could only afford 1 pod so storing the rest at a friends, which I will handle later).
After closing out, these guys seemed really surprised by the tip$ offered and were so grateful. . . I learned that after the POD>HireAHelper>Professionalmen Movers hiring process, our actual movers only get paid $12/hour so tips are extra special to the guys arriving at your door. . . . . they certainly deserved it.

I thought everything was gonna be nice and smooth three movers came and about 20 minutes later one of them walked off the job. So that left a grown man and a 15-year-old child, who did not have a work permit which is required by law. 4 1/2 hours later a third worker did show up. The problem I have is with the inefficient service of the workers. They did not know how to assemble or disassemble anything. The leader of the group told me that it was not in their contract to disassemble washer (which requires unscrewing the hoses from the hot and water faucet) stove, or refrigerator. But to get the refrigerator through the door required taking the handles off with an allen wrench which they did not have. Furthermore they had no tools at all to do anything. I had to go to the hardware to purchase tools so that we would be able to finish the move. One of the movers reminded my wife that they are still on the clock while I was at the store purchasing tools so that they can finish their job. This whole experience is laughable. This was indeed a close encounter of the worst kind. I understand that our furniture was quite heavy but pricey and was not handled with care, because there was damage done to an expensive dresser. At 70 years old I should not have had to help the movers do their job. I am done.

Labor only customers should have adequate supplies for proper wrapping and padding of items.service customers as well should be packed up good and ready for their service as all supplies will be included on the trucks.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have done moves of all types loading and unloading of trucks, trailers and pods to driving rental trucks out of town and also office and warehouse relocation.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Listening to each customer's needs and helping them individually to try to make their moving experience better and less stressful for them.
What training do you provide your crew members?
Moving helpers and drivers are required to train through Movers Academy to become specialist at packing , loading and driving.
