I hired movers because it was just my mom and I moving and we weren't able to move any of the heavier bigger stuff such as appliances and furniture. There was a 2 hr minimum so I figured they could load all of the big stuff and then work on the heavier stuff. I ended up having to pay them for an extra hour because they loaded ALL the boxes, totes, and small stuff and did the big stuff at the end.
